After shaving in the shower with a good quality razor try using a soothing moisturiser for sensitive skin.

A wax is the best way, doesn’t take long and it’s not as painful as people make out. The results last for weeks too so no more shaving.

If you get a regular wax then over time the re-growth is finer and easier to remove.

I have the following routine:

I always shave in the shower so my skin has warmed up. I use a woman’s razor and Dove moisturising shower cream - it lathers well and seems to cool the skin as I shave it. Get the razor warm in the shower and then slowly shave. I constantly put more soap on to keep it lathered and just repeat until smooth. I like to run a landing strip look.

I have found that just doing that every couple of days works well and I never have rashes/hot skin anymore.

OP.

I use VEET for MEN, which is very good and within the Sales Pack, is also included an After Care Balm, which moisturises the skin.

I discovered this product by chance recently and recommend it using it weekly now. But it only seems to be stocked in major branches of Boots, so try there.

A mates Hotwife who teaches beauty so spends all day shaving women told me that a hot shower, beard oil and then a moisturizing shave gel over the top is the best way. For years I have done that and although the next couple of days you may get in growing hairs seems just fine.

Waxing!

Far superior to shaving. Isn't as painful as its made put to be and over time, the regrowth lessens, is finer etc.

Started doing mine quite awhile ago and haven't looked back since

Exfoliate for a week without shaving...Only shave at night.Use an oil, as shaving cream is drying.Use Tea Tree oil afterwards.Make sure the razor is a new 5 blade one.You might even need to use 2 razors.Oh and shave at night

I use veet, but it does tingle and I can definitely imagine some people would react to it. Have you tried different brands? Might be worth a go?

A razor that is adaptable to your type of hair and shower gel or shaving cream then little wrist action

I had a 'friend' wax me about month ago, it did hurt a lot more than expected (probably should of left it to a professional). A load of new hairs grew back within a week, so I had to shave again anyway.

So I think I'll just stick to shaving from now on.

I shave mine with an old rusty razor, then rub them hard with emery cloth before dabbing them with a Brillo pad soaked in vinegar or lime juice.

I shave every time I shower.

Once you start that's it.

Been smooth for 30 odd years.

Gents razor does the job, shower gel or shaving gel.

I shave every shower. It's easier than shaving my face. Just do it with water now

I actually had laser hair removal so it’s all gone now ( or sparse / Downey only and easy to shave )

It’s perianal on the gents menu in the laser clinics so less embarrassing to ask for and for male pubes etc

A female done mine few sessions she didn’t bat an eyelid though I was pleased it was quickly over as I felt heck what is she thinking of my full exposure but business is business ha
