For anyone whose organised socials for swingers in a particular area example Bristol social or Swindon social. Do you tell the pub landlords the event is for people in the lifestyle or you just like hire the space?
In my opinion what we do isn't there business I am just hosting a get together. What is the protocol when you organise these events? |

Personally haven't organised one but as it's a social no one would be any the wiser. I've noticed on the organised social threads that people are reminded it's strictly social and no play is allowed. |

"I’m in the process of organising one & it will be a no-play event, just a social gathering so won’t be telling them. I do go to other socials and some venues know & are supportive
J "
Oh good luck. I am planning one and one or two landlords have asked , I just say an alternative lifestyle group. |

Arranged before and haven't said anything or hired a space - just a pick a big pub and lots of friends turn up. Know somebody else who arranged recently and hired a big private room and didn't say anything - just hired for private party for friends. You just need to make sure people know it's a social in a public place and need to behave accordingly. |

So you didn’t let the venue know so they could arrange staffing? |

For socials of say 30 then no. Guess really depends on the venue. If a big place 30-50 on a weekend not going to make much difference regarding staff. I know others who regular arrange pub socials who don't let anybody know beforehand. |
