Just wondering..... I've been to a good few clubs and have always found them to be good but my friend had a bad experience (I saw it) at After Dark in Edinburgh left an honest review and it was removed ... Can't say the reviews are balanced if removals are permitted.. Admin please step up |

Was that on Saturday? The d*unk australian single guy working the room to see if he could dry up every fanny there? Who was politely told "no thanks" a couple of times, then very clearly told to go away and leave us alone...then got all butt-hurt started shouting that we were all racist...then demanded his money back from the staff?
He was a cunt, and I doubt he'd be providing a very balanced review. |

They do get removed. I’ve seen on on forums and on the club reviews bit and then it was gone. Over all clubs are great and having bad reviews on here cant be good for business. Word of mouth rules though so even if all the reviews are excellent, when people actually attend and its not so good, it gets round. |

There are bad reviews that target when they have been ejected for bad behaviour, or are clearly just stupid. Once saw a negative review from a man who walked barefoot and naked into the gents toilet and complained that he got piss on his feet. You literally couldn't make that shit up. |

So if you can only leave good reviews, then the whole review system is a waste of time. The amount of fake great reviews seen on websites which are obviously left by owners and employees and their friends and families is unreal. |

i wouldnt say its a total waste of time, at least with something like fab you can asssume that if a club has 50+ varied good reviews from different people then its probably got some credibility, even if theyre removing the negative ones. but if you want a balanced opinion its probably best to ask around in the forums. |

Reviews are allowed, good or bad and don't get removed. Also Clubs can't remove reviews
If however someone posted something that wasn't a review or broke site rules then that would be removed |

What happens if someone deletes their fab account? Does the review stay? |

This also happens, when club staff, spouses and friends take advantage of Fab’s free membership and run multiple profiles…… |

A club review should be about the club, in terms of the bricks and mortar, facilities and staff.
If you're leaving a review about the people in attendance, a specific incident that was no fault of the club, or something based purely on your enjoyment or lack of that's down to individuals then that's not really a review of the club itself, surely?
A great club can be quiet on certain nights and influence people's thoughts. An average club can be great, just down to who's there at the time.
You'll rarely get a review that's solely focused on the club itself, and that doesn't really help people making decisions. |
