Anyone do this first? I'm in a cast with a broken leg and even as imaginative in the bedroom as I am it's awkward getting around. Would love to see who here, as a general topic, go and meet someone for an initial chat, cuppa etc with no expectation? |

My now partner did . I was in similar situation to you, OP, recovering at home, with highly limited mobility. As he was a great support (online only) throughout my hospital stay (we started chatting on here just a couple of days before I broke my knee, badly), he earned himself an invite to mine when I got discharged. I would not allow him to come and visit me in hospital as I did not want that to be his first impression of me. He came for a chat, made me laugh through my tears by his silly impersonation of my exfix that I nicknamed Igor the Brute, and he earned a bj, too. He said he would have already stayed that night but he was booked to go to Jaydees that night. He did come back the following weekend, and we have been "weekend couple" ever since- that was nearly 5 years ago! |

We sometimes meet someone just for a chat. We usually make it very clear before meeting, that it will be strictly a social. Sometimes a traveling rep, will be nearby and send us a message asking for a meet. If we're free, we'll usually respond with 'Yep, but social only'. Most aren't interested, but about once every few months, a single guy will be pleased to spend a few hours chatting to us, rather than having another five fingered knuckle shuffle in his hotel room.
We've met some very interesting people, and been told some great info about various aspects of life. A recent meet with a single guy, led to us finding out about a little known festival for next year. |
