Hi all, really embarrassingly, I have realised that (due to an absent male figure growing up) I've got to 33 and realised through to you lovely people talking about it, I've got phimosis. Has anyone had the treatment in manchester can advise me where to go and how is it during and after. |

"Tight foreskin probably requires a circumcision op.
I've had it done recently on the NHS so consult your GP"
Oh thank you. What's the waiting times currently at roughly for that?
What's the level of discomfort afterwards? |

I had a circumcision op when I was in my late 40s due to a tight forskin, I have been very happy with the results ! Obviously you are sore afterwards but the body soon heals itself ! It's much better than the tight forskin that's for sure |

Mine was done at at Stepping Hill Hospital, urology department.
Waiting time isn't too long as it's a pretty quick routine op.
Have a local anesthetic otherwise you are there for the day.
Most people opt for local anesthetic and apart from a few pin prick needle injections in the pubic area you don't feel a thing.
Procedure takes roughly 30 minutes.Small row of stitches which eventually dissolve.
Some itching and minor discomfort during recovery period which is about 6to 8 weeks.
No sex for six weeks

In 40's you're able to control who sees you naked for the rest
Afterwards, easier
Cleaner & I'd say better looking
Healing comes simpler with organ size, you'll probably enjoy the extra attention down there afterwards
