Any of the above - it's just preference really and you'll find what you like.

Go careful the first time you use a wet razor it's so easy to cut yourself especially doing the back of your calves (or is it calfs I never know), along your shin bone and in the dip behind your ankle.

Veet is my go to.

Trim with leccy trimmer first.

But it can give you a bit of a rash it you are sensitive. Careful round your bum hole... And it does smell a bit!

My legs have been totally smooth always for a number of years, I much prefer it that way.

For the first time, you may need to do it several times to get completely smooth. I tend to use a Gillette Venus razor - it moisturises as you shave, it now is a couple of mins in the shower a couple of times a week.

You might want to try Veet, but be very careful of how long you leave it on …. and as others have said, it does smell awful!

Exfoliate first...removes dead skin and makes it less likely you will get 'razor rash'.

Sit in the bath for a few minutes to allow the hot water to open up the pores on your legs and soften the hairs.

Use a good clean razor and a gel. You don't need a fancy 4+ blade razor, just make sure its clean and not blunt.

Use short smooth strokes, don't press the razor down or keep going over the same area.

If you find you have a really sensitive area prone to ingrown hairs shave there with the direction of hair growth (usually downwards) instead of against it. The finish won't be as smooth but will stop you getting nasty rashes or ingrown hairs

Afterwards pat legs dry and use a good moisturiser or after shave balm, this helps prevent ingrown hairs and dry skin where you shaved.

That's how I do it anyway

Make sure you use a sensitive shaving foam! And pull the razor in one direction to minimise cuts

Everything above and use a mirror to check those awkward places.

If you really want to be smooth down below consider a back, sack and crack as well.

My standard answer to these type of threads involves napalm, oxyacetylene torch, hedge trimmer and/or drain unblocking solution. Please be advised that anybody suggesting these or even more radical methods is probably making an attempt at humour. Polly wishes to stress that she takes no liabilty for unfortunate outcomes should any person be gullible enough to actually utilise a Black & Dekker* Strimmer™ for the purpose of intimate hair removal.

* Other makes of garden trimming device also available.

I use a razor on my shins and calves, then use veet on my thighs. I get terrible razor rash, if I shave my thighs.

(Mr)

I am totally smooth all over, legs, bum, sack, body, armpits, arms - the lot.

Get a Manscaped trimmer, called the Lawnmower. It can trim down the bushy bits, is very safe and good for nutsacks too. Then a good razor, take your time and use good shave gel. There's a good cream afterwards called Barenuts, good for the sensitive parts.
