Ok, i know this has been posted about before but i couldn't find any threads that actually gave a definitive answer by anyone "in charge" or in the know.
Over the last 2 months our profile has seen a surge in profiles from the US winking/sending friend invites/fabbing our pics but mostly just viewing our profile.
Without exception every single one of those profiles has been on the site over a year and doesnt have any verifications. If that were an English profile i would block immediately because in my experience they are normally fake/time wasters/internet fantasists-which is fine each to their own but not for us! So i do the same with these American profiles.
Can anyone tell me where they are coming from, why they are viewing our profile and why it has started happening all of a sudden? We don't get that many views/fabs so it cant just be the odds of it. This morning i logged on and blocked 5 of these profiles. Considering i went to bed at 1am, thats quite a lot over the last 9 hours!
Any answers would be helpful! Been on the site for 3 years as a single fem and NEVER had anything like this before!
I thought perhaps the search criteria or something like that had been changed? Any ideas...?

I have had the same recently though I don't actually bother to read their profiles given they are well over the hours drive limit I have on my profile   And I don't accept random friendship requesters either  |

Yeah i thought it might be that as well, i know that FAB is international but just trying to get to the bottom of why we are seeing this sudden influx-that number of profiles that are exactly the same make me nervous they are doing a bit of copy and pasting!!! |

We have had a few too .
At first we were flattered that someone so far away had taken the trouble to contact us but when I looked at their profiles it said "cannot accommodate and cannot travel "
This was a couple in Texas !!.
I pointed this out saying it was a bit much to expect us to travel to Texas from Hampshire for a meet, as was implied by their message to us , and they got all hurt and defensive .

ive also noticed in the pics section, new pics posted from american profiles. how is this possible? i thought american pics would be seen on their FAB site, and not the british one. |

Working on it, LOL, new to the lifestyle and not nearly as many members here, nobody within 2 hours driving .. yet anyway LOL. Meeting some nice folks so far though, once we figured out you have to filter out the creepers =) |

We've had loads look/wink/friend invite recently and was wondering the same thing ? Maybe they are looking to see if we're friends with prince Harry or something?  |

You are right. Not that I don't mind viewing a lot of the British ladies,but I really think the site does default to U.K. The winks should be taken as a compliment, but firends and asking for meets??? Well, there ARE some crazies over here too. Happy swinging!!! |

I've had quite a few viewers from over the pond also. Mind you, if they are to be believed some of them, they live in either Texas, Florida or Pennsylvania all at once - same avatars on them all!! |
