So Mr is currently going through some treatment for in his words ‘a wee bit of cancer’.
Thankfully so far the treatment hasn’t really wiped him out. And we have discovered it hasn’t affected his sex drive. Still as much as a big perv as he’s always been.
So I suppose we aren’t really on here asking for much, maybe just wondering if any other couples have went through this sort of thing and got to the other side. |

It really depends on the type of cancer and the types of treatment he's undergoing and also how well he responds to said treatment. It has many different side effects on every single person but we do wish him a speedy recovery and successful treatment. This is our opinion from having someone close in our family circle having treatment and beating the type they had |

I'm pleased to hear you can enjoy one another ...
I send my warmest wishes for a full and total remission |

A Fab friend gets her final chemo tomorrow. It’s wipes her out some days and other days she’s managed to come out with us.
People talk about cancer and their treatment more and hopefully it helps others see the positive side and not just the negative.

Fire was diagnosed with NHL in 2019 and had 6 rounds of chemo (RCHOP). He found the accumulative effects of the chemo did mean he would be tired or lack energy sometimes (had to have as he called it his “grandad nap”). His treatment was on 3 week cycles and he found it hit him in the 2nd week of each cycle, which was also when his immune system was at its lowest. So it was on that week when his libido might be effected. Then week 3 he’d be horny as hell
Thankfully he was declared in remission in early 2020. And thus far no Ill effects in relation to his sex drive. Although he does complain that he now has to shave his bits again (didn’t need to worry about that when he was on his chemo!).
Feel free to DM if you think he might be able to talk through some things. And all our love for Mr and his treatment x

Feeling the love in this post.
You don’t usually have the discussion about libido and sex when dealing with medical issues and yet it is something that has a huge impact on relationships and self esteem.
Fab does have the benefit where more people are open and honest about these things. The support we give each other is not to be underestimated. There are some good people on here. |

Thanks again everyone.
Yes, it’s great we can be open and honest with each other, because of how we approach life already. So there are no surprises, and no hiding when we are or aren’t totally horny.
The loss of hair has been interesting, not something Mr totally bought into before, but he may be a convert. |

Can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since our initial post. For those that commented, thank you.
Everything in Sbost garden is rosey just now and long may it stay that way.
If anyone is going through similar, we are here to give our perspective if you think it would help. |
