Fancy dress??? or plain STUPID???

Its Ranis work colleagues 30th birthday party in March. Its been decided that the theme shall be fancy dress. I have also been invited as i have worked with them over xmas.

Whilst discussing the venue with Rani, myself and the Birthday girl via Whatsapp i stupidly asked what i could dress as (Raja) to which Rani promptly responded to and suggested i dress as moulin rouge (dunno what that is) but apparently it involves me wearing stockings and heels.

Rani and the birthday were cracking up at this point. Rani pushed the boat out further and suggested that i'll be waxed and my toes shall be painted too for the evening. Now, as much as this all sounds like fun, is this really practical??? bearing in mind there will be alot of rani work colleagues there and people i know too??

This whole proposal has been put forward to me as a challenge and i NEVER back down from a challenge. However i've never done something like this before and therefore worried/concerned/scared??? of peoples reaction.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Personally, I reckon if you're the only guy going in drag it's gonna be a bit weird

"that's exactly my fear"

If it was a load of your mates then fair enough but if it's mainly people you don't know, well like I said it will look weird

Go for it, it will be fun. Just have a laugh, and everyone else will laugh with you.

This is a very good idea. I see this as an oppertunity for Raja to be my slut in public. Boost his confidence in a fun way. If he's that nervous then I guess we could tone it down a little and ease him in

But do they have something they are interested in or a particular charity that they support?

I made Matt shave his beard and grow his hair enough to be slicked back so I could hire a tail coat tux, leather mask to dress him like Phantom of the Opera for a fancy dress he looked fantastic. We're going to another soon trying to descide what I can dress him up as, I was thinking of going as a busty serving wench.

Raja does too....think he's a little scared as its his 1st time dressing up in public. But what better way to get into it...at a fancy dress party. Evry1 at work is really excited to see him and there is a prize for the best dressed. I will make sure he wins!!!!lol
