Being trans on the scene - identifiers

Hi

I'm fairly new here, profile is only three weeks old. I need some advice though.

I'm a transwoman, 100% socially transitioned and living as a female. Been on hormones for a few years but no bottom surgery yet.

My profile is flagged as TV/TS because I'm trans but I'm finding that's attracting a lot of crossdressers, and people who enjoy crossdressers. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not my thing. I'm not dressing up, I'm trying to be my authentic self.

The alternative would be to flag myself as a woman. I am a woman, but I have a penis. I don't mind making this clear on my profile but I'm scared I'm breaking some sort of etiquette, and might be accused of lying.

How do people on the scene generally view it? How do clubs treat my situation for guestlisting and stuff like that?

Being trans is hard. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

probably stay in the tv/ts category to avoid confusion, although if you did go in the female catogory it might make people read profiles or they could end up with quite the suprise when they find the meat and two veg winking at them

Every club will have a bi day. Get bi couples, bi men, bi women, tvs and sometimes get trans women there too.

Clubs have something for everyone. Go for it and enjoy

I won’t advise on the categories on here you should use, but I’m guessing guys who are looking for Trans Women would search under TV/TS.

Clubs (certain ones anyway) are very inclusive and I have very rarely had any issues with the patrons or clubs themselves. Admittedly I do generally favour those that have Bi nights and websites include Trans information within.

I came from the Fetish scene and that tends to be inclusive as well, so either types of venues to be honest.

Good luck hope you have a great time

Firstly hello and hope you have fun here, wether that be using the forums, in the chat rooms which I enjoy (especially the Bisexual Chat room as I feel it is the most chilled room) and you can put your cam on and chat 'face to face' with people) or any meets you have.

To address your question I am in the same place as you...on hormones but not had bottom surgery. I used the TV/TS category but make it clear in the first line of my profile that I am Pre-op Transgender. It's up front and the first thing people will read so (mostly) avoids any issues/confusion.

Take care and good luck x

.

I think in general a lot in your position do choose a woman's profile and then state it clearly in the write up that they are pre op. It's not lying, if someone doesn't read the profile then that is their fault not yours.

Good question, personally I regard myself as trans which to me means living as a woman but wouldn't present myself as one as it would be misleading.

I'm also on hormone therapy which has reduced masculinity and developed my breasts over the last couple of years. Although I'm quite convincing I'm self conscious when I'm out so I wouldn't want to mislead anyone by describing myself as a woman if that makes sense. Happy to chat via DM if you'd like to x

Hi Elsie, welcome to Fab!

Honestly, put yourself in the category that you feel most comfortable with. It's up to you to say whether you are pre-op in your profile, or discuss that privately with any potential socials/meets.

It's your profile, do what feels right at the moment, you can always edit as and when you need to.

To me, you are a woman, trans or not, that's how you identify.

I hope you have a positive and fantastic fab journey.

I'm the same as you, and this subject always pops up. Fab will never separate TV and ts despite a MASSIVE difference. My title is pre-op seems the way to go.

Fab should separate them

It's a very big different between the 2
