"Are any of these any good? I see Ann Summers sell a little blue pill, naughty and nice do a herbal pill as well.
Just wondered"
If you don't need them, don't take them.
If you do need them, get your doc to prescribe them and pay the few quid they cost.
What price on your health? |

I check all the herbal pill reviews on here as I'm after some....but I dont know of one single herbal product that actually works..
I have just been through two bottles on L'arginine on the stength of a half decent review...total waste of money..so you can scratch that one...
Theres one called 'male extra'...(apologies if these is against the rules admin)I dont know what its like...one of the Key ingredients is L'arginine again..reviews are good but frankly I dont want to waste any more money...
Funny how all the adverts for these products feature young blokes who really shouldnt need it...bit like 'wonder diets..the ones that 'really work' ...the ad always seem to feature someone who doesnt need to lose any weight at all |

That's not strictly true. There are quite a few herbal products which, when prescribed for a specific complaint in a specific patient, by a qualified herbalist, do actually work.
Aspirin, after all, is a herbal product.

How many herbalists prescribe Aspirin?
As Tim Minchin said, Alternative Medicine is something that's either not been proven to work, or been proven not to work. there's a word for any alternative medicine that has been proven to work. medicine. |

Love Tim Minchin! Herbalists are not regulated and 99% of things they give you are placebos! Buying any medicine from a non-reputable source is like playing Russian roulette with you body. The reality is if you're over 40 ed might be caused by something as simple as
A zinc deficiency. Buying stuff online which is not from a pharmacy is stupid and dangerous. |

The only of the herbal treatments I have heard of which has any scientific support is yohimbe bark however this is a listed perscription only medicine in the UK and has a lot of addition side effects. I understand it was abused a lot in dieting and the bodybuilding community. Side effects include excessive sweating, significantly increased blood pressure and as a result severe headaches. |

well if the effects include significantly increased blood pressure I guess you can kinda see how it would work! sounds a bit extreme though, don't think I'd want to try it. |

Horny goat has been shown to include a compound (possibly compounds) which act as PDE-5 inhibitors in animal studys which is the functional mechanism of both viagra and cialis. I can however find any significant scientific studies supporting this in humans although these studies did force a partial relaxation in the patents on PDE-5 inhibitors in the US.
Initial studies have also suggested that maca may have some effect on erectile dysfunction caused by serotonin specfic reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). I suspect that this may be getting significant further study as I am sure the pharmacetical companies could increase market share by minimising this side effect in their SSRI .
Unfortunately it appears that when saw palmetto was submitted to large scale studies the previously reported prostate health effects could not be recreated and in fact in the study was out performed by the placebo. |

Without standardisation of the active ingredient(s) the results from herbal products will always be variable.
I have no idea if the required dose from horny goat would be viable as a treatment for erectile dyfunction from raw powder and if you would suffer other adverse effects from other active components first. |

Lol, wonder how many on here actually read that? This is the problem with many "herbal remedies" they give almost the same result as the placebo, which makes me think that I might
Start selling smarties and call them erectytabs, call myself a herbalist and claim they're from a section of the amazon where people have erections permanently! |

Summergrass complex from 100% herbal works a treat. Although it has a new name now..... wolfspring or something. Check out the website (I have nothing to do with them apart from being a satisfied customer) |

Having had a quick look I think that is wolfberry complex. Wolfberry seems to get used to describe a number of far east berries including goji berries which are a fairly common product touted as a superfood for its high levels of antioxidants. Unfortunately the only site mentioning summergrass comple give no information of their formulation. Other companies selling wolfberry complex pills look like fairly run of the mill tonics.
V-Rx V Wolfberry Combination: Ingredients per capsule- Smilax Extract 4:1 (40.0mg), Avena Sativa Extract 10:1 (40.0mg), Siberian Ginseng Extract 25:1 (40.0mg), Nettle Leaf Extract 4:1 (40.0mg), Saw Palmetto 4:1 (40.0mg), Jujube Fruit Extract 10:1 (40.0mg), Pumpkin Seed Extract 10:1 (16.0mg). I personally would not expect those levels of effect from this mixture. My sceptical side makes me wonder if these are yet another 'herbal' product being spiked with a known generic pharmacetical as happened with early batches of Rockhard Weekend. |

Why would increasing the blood pressure work? Viagra works by lowering the blood pressure. |

I'm surprised that a young guy like you needs to rely on Viagra. If you do take them, make sure you get them from your doctor as they might have a catastrophic impact on your health. |

There seem to be a lot of men that want to go for hours on end.. Like some performing circus animal.
I have to say this guys. I don't know about other women, but I would find it insulting that someone would need a pill to be with me. If a guy is going for hours it's not natural. And if he sucks at it? For hours?? Let us use our talents boys |

I like the slow sensual approach rather than the wham, bang guy who rides you like a steam train bashing his head against my headboard. He seems to take hours to come while I lay there hoping that he will finish soon. Unfortunately there are lots of guys who lack finesse and understanding regarding a woman's needs. |
