I guess some would say kinky is having the light on, where others would say it’s a lot more out there. Keen to understand what people flavour their kink is? How kinky are you? |

Unsure where kinky starts, but an old comedian from years gone by, defined the difference between kinky and perverted...
Kinky is using a feather - perverted is using the whole chicken.

No answer to what is exciting sex and what is kink. You find someone that thinks oral sex is kinky putting stocking on is kinky. Next person might think anal and spanking is everyday sex
As long as all enjoy and want it nothing is too kinky. |

It's all subjective, as others say. Things vary by culture too. We've got a modern western perspective and it's very much a flavour of our modern world here. Ancient cultures managed to enjoy their hedonistic lifestyles too and many today would be viewed by them as unimaginative and straight-laced, even if their own perspective was they are kinky.
I like to think that I'm flexible and need the right partners to develop some interests, rather than finding Joe Blogs at a local pub and expecting him to suggest wild fantasies to be explored. I'm fairly vanilla most days  |

Kinks are very subjective in there nature. For example, some peoples kinks i would view as vanilla and then some of mine others wouldnt dream of doing stuff that i like.
I think its hard to view where the limit is as we are all into very different styles/tastes of what we enjoy.
A lot of my kinks I wouldn’t dream of even suggesting to people i was going to meet because they require a lot of trust and understanding from the person i was entering a dynamic with based on the risks associated with them. |

And why compare 'how' kinky we are. It's not a competition and actually that's a quite unhealthy mindset which can push people to 'push boundaries' for feeling a failure or not kinky enough.

It was meant in a more light hearted way. Of course I know everyone has their own limits, and I would never suggest someone does something they are not totally happy with just because they think they should. |

Been in the kink/fetish lifestyle for over 40 years and in that time it has become obvious with the advent and impact of social media that tolerance for so called kink has increased massively. For example, back in the 80s, the Viola rubber videos were considered pretty wild but now you can get them all free on Xhamster! In the 90s fetish became quite trendy with various pop stars wearing rubber and Torture Garden putting out compilation dance CDs. It’s like drugs, people are always seeking a greater thrill and the goalposts are in constant motion as a result. What is worrying now is how various sinister groups are seeking to hijack the trans movement to promote their own deviancies. We do worry that too many boundaries are now being crossed though, and this is coming from people who have done a lot of kink! |

Erm... I guess we're kinky by definition, however our play does not feel kinky to me. Mr may have a different opinion. Our play includes sploshing, bondage, breath play, impact, pegging, little bit of cbt, sensory overload where possible. |
