We are very interested in attending a private organised party but don't really know how to find out about any. We have been to clubs and love them but want to try a different environment for a change. How do you go about finding these or people who are hosting? Thanks |

Also doing exactly what your doing by posting this (maybe it was part of your plan). By putting yourself out there online you potentially open the door to invites from people who've seen this and like the look of your profile. We have a few random invites in the past off here from people who do house parties. Also just being active on the club/social scene can open doors. In our time we've met a few people in club who organise house parties and got invites. Also sometimes invites can come from freinds of freinds.

I go for a few with my partner and also host sometimes.
House party covers a wide spectrum - everything a few couples with an emphasis on play to 50 or more people more like a club event.
The big house parties tend to be advertised on here in meet section or on profiles. They tend to be open to everyone (well at least couples), require a paid ticket and a mix of social and play. Lots go to just socialise. As you can imagine this is a big commitment to organise and therefore not many do. It is hit or miss if any in your area. Currently only one within an hour or so of us that we know that runs monthly. There have been others but they've stopped as too much hassle. Quite possibly nothing near you.
Smaller events are more hit and miss and are not always advertised. It is more people inviting people they know or proactively looking for people. These can still have 10-20 people, usually free and much more selective and probably more play. We do more like this. You might see people mentioning on status or meet events but more likely you need to network with people in the party scene. You also need to make clear on your profile that you are interested in parties. We go looking for people sometimes but would pass over your profile. Veris are also a good source of info - look for other couples with decent amount of veris and see if you can spot any parties. If you do message the hosts and say perhaps interested next time. Basically network network network and over time you will get more invites..... |

I regularly attend one in south east. One of the best I have ever been to. Check South coast parties. X |

Yep enjoy them much more as well assuming you trust the organiser to get the right people. Wish there were more taking place but it can be a bugger to host and arrange. |

most private house parties are just what they say they are 100% private and amongst friends only the only way yoou get in is by becoming friends and some of them are very very picky too so to safe gaurd there lifestyle some will invite via chatrooms and sites like fab .
swinging is in the last few years going back underground for many having select groups with cast iron rings around them stopping the non swingers and no more hassle and abuse from the many ... we could go to a private party weekly where we know everyone ..
the way to really find these groups if your new is clubs mainly id say you may get lucky in a chatroom |

This is true. We hosted one in the summer for 20. Vowed to only ask people we’d met before. Made one exception at the last minute. As soon as agreed details and given address they started talking in a way I was unsure about and had my doubts. Surprise surprise they were the only ones out of 20 who didn’t play and left early as they didn’t like the vibe. Lesson learnt…..again. At least they made a polite exit rather than hang around and spoil things which can happen.
So best advice is to network and search out and meet party people. |
