Picture quality once uploaded

Hi sorry if this is the wrong forum, the quality of the pictures in my camera roll are very clear but once uploaded are quite blurry especially if I have added anything to the photo, does anyone know how to prevent this please

Are you following the photo upload guidelines?

You don't have any photos showing, so it's hard to see what you mean.

FAB just like Facebook and 'the cloud' compress images to save space on their servers. If your original image is a .jpg it is already compressed so will be compressed yet again !. Ensure when taking photos that your camera/phone is set to the highest resolution (number of pixels), it's not obvious how to do this on the later mobiles and maybe indicated with useless tripe like '3:4' . If your original images are quite small then some software/mobiles have a function to enhance and enlarge images (such as 'remaster' on some Samsung mobiles )...
