How to reverse image?

Hi, has anyone a simple way to check profile photos are real and not lifted from a random person on the web?

Using the iPhone how easy is it to do a reverse image search?

With clear instructions and good results this would maybe help genuine fabbers sort out the non paying wasters.

Of you are on your phone, press on the pic, then the option for Google image search is near the bottom of the drop down list... On your pc you should just be ok to right click on the image and get the same drop down

There are so many people on here if you have serious doubts about a profile maybe report it but just move onto another.

Tineye or Google lens arr usable.

But suspicious photos have nothing to do with being a site supporter or not and many people upload their own pictures elsewhere to other sites too.

If you're worried then either ask to video chat with them, look for well verified profiles from clubs and organised socials as these can usually be considered safe or just move on to another profile.

Assuming someone is who they say they are just because a photo search returns no results isn't a cast iron guarantee.

Another tip is to search for a mirror image of the pic some people do this to fool reverse image searches

Nope, not to me, anyone with a cock picture or a fanny like the Mersey Tunnel as their main profile picture is not sexy.

Each to their own though.

It’s not a close up! I ain’t purporting to be too sexy for a picture like someone was?

I reverse searched for my own photos on my profile and it seems that my pics have been lifted from Fab and used on porn sites! Not sure whether to be angry or flattered, but either way, they didn't ask for my permission.

You can report via those sites by the information you have and they would investigate

But I'm like you wouldn't be flattered more like what a cheek

I'm on an Android tablet, works on mine.

Held my finger on a photo and I got a drop down menu.

One of the options is "search Google for this image"

Google removed right click image search from it's chrome browser. But it you want it back I found this info on how to do it, I've not tried it myself yet.

Remove Google Lens to Restore Reverse Image Search

If you would like to get rid of the Google Lens option completely and bring back the “Search Google for image” right-click option, that is easy to do as well. It’s simple a Chrome flag that you can toggle on and off.

First, enter chrome://flags/ into your Chrome search/address bar and hit Enter, then scroll down to the Search your screen with Google Lens entry. Alternatively, you can directly enter chrome://flags/#enable-lens-region-search into your search bar.

Choose “Disabled” from the dropdown menu.

Once you’ve made the change, Chrome will tell you that the “changes will take effect the next time you relaunch Chrome” and give you the option to relaunch. When Chrome has relaunched, you will find that the “Search Google for image” has been restored in your right-click menu.
