"Why does this forum allow its members to publicly state that they don’t want to interact with a person of colour. Why should a coloured person feel discriminated for the colour of their skin. You have all these clubs and events would it ever say no blacks or no browns? No because we are in modern times so why does this forum allow for members to have on their page and things like, white only no black or Asians. As an Asian I find it horrible that this day and age I am still made to feel ashamed for the colour of my skin. Members on here shouldn’t be allowed to write white only no Asians or blacks. " Op... As many have said already, it's about preference at the end of the day and not specifically anyone being racist/derogatory to anyone. On the contrary, I think you'll find there a LOAD more threads on the forum pages for people who DO have a preference for people from various parts of the world... Asian, Oriental, BBC to name but a few appreciation threads.... Sadly, the 'Slim, white, single male from Sunderland' appreciation thread hasn't started yet, but I pray its only a matter of time

" Unfortunately, people find attractive and sexy what works fir them. I do not take offence to anyone not wanting to meet a bi man. It's their choice who they want to meet. I'm certain that most do not post these things to be offensive but purely for preference. If you think about it then they are not wasting your time.

"I actually prefer when a profile States there ethnic sexual preferences it does save a wasted message. But what always makes me scratch my head is the term tall dark and handsome it's the dark part what is weird. (I know what it means) " It comes from when people fancied Rudoloph Valentino, they used the term to describe him, thats the origin I believe.

Someone stating a preference to skin colour and features is not racist at all. As someone else said, there's profiles stating they'll only meet black people, are we calling them out for racism against white or Asian people? Bringing Hitler into it really? No one can have a preference because of Hitler. Get a grip.

A club setting their rules to be open to all, again isn't the individual choosing who to have sex with. The club also wouldn't expect anyone to have sex with anyone they didn't choose to do so, on their property. I see what you're trying to suggest, but these examples are not fitting, at all.

"Isn't it just down to personal preference? Would it be discriminatory if I only wanted to interact with black women? Some Asian people only want to interact with other Asians. And I have seen events that are specifically for black people and Asian people. If someone says no Asian or no black, then they've already done me a favour." Exactly this!!! It's saving me wasting my time messaging them and them wasting time being inundated with pointless messages from people they know they have no intention of communicating with..

"We despise racism of any form, but having a preference (be that in terms of body shape, hair colour or dare we say skin colour) doesn’t make someone racist. On the contrary, some people on here use their skin colour to advertise themselves (BBC) while some women will only meet black men. Each to their own. " This is definetely not the case. Preference is what you like particularly but if you find a skin colour attractive it is different as i doubt youd find a stereotypical Scandinavian man who has a genetic anomaly of dark brown skin attractive. Why? because its just colour, is it...it's the background behind it aswell. Otherwise all those tattooed people who have literal jet black skin would recieve similar consideration for attraction. What people actually mean is they havent thought hard enough, long enough or explored enough why they are sexuallyy attracted to someone. Word to the wise, if it's based on ethnicity or colour then you are likely fetishizing them! They are people, not just sexually attractive meat. Saying i prefer JAPANESE women because of their bone structure, cultural attitude, fat placement AND how their skin shade is and blends with all of the aformentioned...IS completely different to saying "i'm only interested in really pale women or japanese women who are white" You need only look at how light skin people are commodified in china to prove my point.

"To my way of thinking it’s straightforward. If I see a ladies or couples profile stating only looking for bi guys or only looking for black guys then I know straight away that I don’t fit their criteria and move on." Which is the correct adult thing to do. Some ppl just like to bring attention to their otherwise sad lives tho. Unfortunately the wokes and flakes have had society pandering to them for to long and this original post shows it.

I have seen a club in Atalanta offering bands to couples and single ladies at the front door based on the choices and that did include race. You can more than one band to mix things, and I found it sensible approach, as you eliminate unnecessary and increase a chance to find a right people you want to play with. You get an option to change/ add additional bands whole night.

"At what shade of sun tan does a skin colour become too dark for people who aren't racist? If it genuinely is a case of not being attracted to a certain shade of brown then someone you found attractive prior to a fortnight in Magaluf becomes unattractive on their return. Or have I misunderstood?" It's likely not skin colour but physical features or attitudes. Black, white, Asian, generally have different physical features and/or cultural attitudes. Of course every individual has different physical features but some can be attributed to certain races as a general rule

There is no one race "better at sex". There may be a race with on average bigger cocks but that's a different thing. It also ignores the female half of the race. Go to other parts of the world and the fascination with black men is not there. Flipping it around in Japan for example there is more a fascination with white ladies in porn and sex establishments. You rarely find a black lady. Does that mean that race is better at sex? Perhaps not. All down to the individual....

Things that are so obvious, look at all the interracial events and BMFC (sexual) all focused on one race. You have a very UK/perhaps American centric way of looking at things. All down to the individual...." oh common mate - how many black males are there in Japan? White female fetish is always there, she is shown in prom fetishising about either white or black male, and then having sex with them. There is no porn film available where, white female is craving for Asian pale or brown body or cock?? If you find one, please share here. The problem is irrespective of race, region and religion everyone watched the same porn, and started fooling around, especially males from Asia, thinking that they can replace white or black male in white women fantasy. Now, if you observe closely, our ads are also showing white female and black male in family or GF or BF setup, basically capitalising on deep rooted desires. In comparison to such ads, other combination, like white male with black or brown Asian female or brown Asian male with black or white female or any combo is rare. I am not saying that Asians won’t have any chance, but they have to find a right place, which is very much here in UK but not in swingers club, that is like 15 mins speed dating to find and fuck someone. Mostly first generation Asian male due to poor understanding of the scene and low representation have less chance.

"So all the people who think I’m over reacting to this if I approached you in a club would you flat say to my face no Asians….. If people don’t think their preference could be worded better then you really are ignorant. No way would anyone who has on the profile no blacks or Asians would ever have the guts to say it to someone’s face in that way. " Any person would use a polite approach in any club or face to face it's a preference which you clearly don't understand people are entitled to express and if the only way is within the bio so they don't get inundated with messages from those whom don't fit their criteria it's common sense

"To my way of thinking it’s straightforward. If I see a ladies or couples profile stating only looking for bi guys or only looking for black guys then I know straight away that I don’t fit their criteria and move on. Which is the correct adult thing to do. Some ppl just like to bring attention to their otherwise sad lives tho. Unfortunately the wokes and flakes have had society pandering to them for to long and this original post shows it. And that's literally how racism continues because people dgaf to explore it outside of their own bias. I'll be sure to mention how racist I am to my 2 mixed race grand kids and the son in law. Just vecause you have dual heritage people in your family it doesnt mean you cant be racist or ignorant....." Yup I can vouch for that on both sides of my family.

How someone says it is another thing entirely of course. In your scenario, at a club, face to face, I'd expect someone to politely decline an invitation to be intimate with someone they weren't physically attached to. I can talk to people I'm not sexually attracted to all day. In your scenario you seem to be suggesting I should have sex with you because you want it, regardless of what I want. Consent and respecting my preferences is important to me. Obviously it's not to you.

Yep the way some people say things matters. Sometimes people say things with no menace and just expressing a preference and sometimes it seems to be with racist/abusive menace. Personally I've lived in Asia in China and Japan and been on the other side of this and really got a feel for preference vs racism in various contexts. I read profiles here and some do seem to express things in a borderline racist way.....well sometimes not even borderline. I feel the same on being ginger. "Dear OP, I am asian and my wife is Jamaican. We have both had partners from various backgrounds before we met that were white british / white european / latin american. I now have a sexual preference for black women now along with latin american women and regularly tell my wife lol. Although when I regularly see a white woman that I find attractive, I point her out to my wife. My wife regularly tells me if she notices a hot guy she finds cute, either black or white guy or asian guy. These are our sexual preferences. It is what turns us both on. And our sexual preferences are different to our preferences for friendships where we are open to people from any background. Incidentally, I am very turned on when she tells me she has seen a hot black guy. I'm not paranoid about it, being an asian male. In fact I am happy that we talk openly about our fantasies and desires. And to be fair, I regularly tell her I would love to see her with a black male having fun as I watch. We just like who we like in terms of sex. As many have said, it is just a preference. That is all. My advice would be get out there and get to some clubs etc. Meet people and use your personality to let others know more about you. You never really get to know people by exchanging a few messages here on the forums or by chatting or texting. " Amen, it’s all down to personal preferences and NOT a racist choice!

"The guy does have a point to some degree. You don't often people see people post things like 'no fatties' do you?" It depends how you read a profile. Say, for example, someone's profile states that they prefer slim gym fit women. It's an innocent enough statement. But women who aren't gym fit could read it as don't meet fatties and become offended enough to start a topic in the forums about it. It's all in the mindset of the reader. Some are sensible and just move on in the search for someone who's compatible. Others are not and will scrutinise the profile wording in an attempt to make it an "ist" situation.

"Well I must say I'm disappointed at the OP for not replying to my comment about the two Asian couples who have "will only meet other Asians" on their profiles. I mean, going by his own rationale it's racist right? Or anyone else on the thread who has an issue with people stating their preferences regarding who who they wish to meet. I'm guessing the OP has declined because he knew his answer would be somewhat hypocritical. That or he just couldn't think of a reply with some substance to it. It's personal choice folks. Nothing more sinister than that. I don't like beards. I find them itchy, tickly and irritating. So I state on my profile that I don't meet bearded guys. Does that make me beardist? Obviously it must do because personal choice is seemingly being replaced by someone's word of choice with "ist" tagged on the end. How sad is that?" I wonder how the op would react to his sister bringing home a non Asian...

For example, ticking a drop down of white/black/martian only, choose the one they want, that goes straight to their profile, next to their username - Like a sticky title Ignore any msgs from people that don't interest them, quite simple.

" It is the the same for disabled people since we are excluded or judged useless because of disability - I can understand to a certain degree but at the end of the day we all are human and have issues -nobody is perfect

"It's called - preference. Should I feel discriminated against when people say they prefer BBC. No - they know what they like and lets me know they will not be interested in me. " Preference is about stating what you like. Aka “prefer”. It’s not about stating what and who you dislike. It’s also not normal to discount entire ethnic groups consisting of millions of people you’ve never seen or met. There’s definitely something deeper going on there. Personally I don’t care if someone is or isn’t attracted to whatever ethnic group, as long as they acknowledge they have some kind of deep rooted prejudice.

I chose not to give a shit and seek engagement with those that do have preferences for my particular physical attitributes or whatever... People are very very sick of the race card being dealt to force them to somehow condition their natural preferences. By pushing it some elements of society are making it worse for themselves, both in race and sexial identify among other 'things' ..

"We have a set list of attributes we do not find attractive. Some are age, size, sexuality, and yes race may come into it. My/our preferences are outwardly listed on our profile to save people wasting their own time and ours. This site is like being in a bar, lots of people that won’t float your boat and occasionally a couple that do. I definitely shouldn’t be made to feel guilty for saying generally speaking certain races don’t do anything for me. That’s a preference and outlines consent. Why would you want to chat with those that aren’t into your race? If we saw another couple that state they’re into a race that isn’t us we simply don’t approach and move on. Because we aren’t what they’re looking for doesn’t mean we should be upset by it. Racial preference is exactly the same as age preference or sexuality preference." This site is not like being in a bar. If you were to walk into a bar with a label saying you don't like a race of people the establishment are most likely to ask you to leave. However, if you are approached in a bar by people not of your liking you can sit somewhere else or leave or inform the management. I have certain preferences but none that are offensive to other races or sections of society. But, I prefer men older than 40 because I have children in their 30s and it would just feel weird! I really dislike reading comments in regards to race. No Blacks, no Asians, no whites. We are no longer in the 1960s. All very offensive. I ignore the message or block if they continue to be insistent.

Most are not here to make friends they’re here to explore sexuality or sexual scenarios which brings physical appearance into it. If you’re not attracted to someone you certainly shouldn’t need to feel guilty for that no matter the reason. Your preferences are your preferences. Having race preferences is no different.

That is why you have interracial events and BMFC events specially designed to fulfil black men fetish arranged by these swingers club and promoted here. "Preference and racism are two very different things. We prefer to choose some things over other things we prefer chicken or beef over lamb so are we being discriminatory against lamb no not at all the world is a hard enough place to live in without all the added hoops we put in it for each other. Personally we think that if we are attracted to someone we will message them and see if we don't find someone attractive we won't message them so op you need to maybe think about your reasoning behind you being here as it sounds like you have some deeper things you need to deal with before you can continue your journey through the lifestyle " Best reply so far

"I get what you mean, sometimes the wording and general attitude just reeks of being a bit of a closer racist. However at the same time, a lot of people are here for hook-ups and not friends/relationships, and people DO have preferences with this stuff. I mean how many profiles are only looking for hung men, or curvy/skinny women? The Bi double-standard with men is pretty crazy too, bi women are adored but bi men generally shunned…. If we ban any mentions of race, then the same argument could be made for body shape, weight, hair and beards, height and more. I think the site allowing most things lets you make the choice yourself. Even as a white dude that these couples would ‘accept’ I’ve avoided certain profiles due to their wording/vibe. " I don't think the OP was bemoaning the mention of race, more how the preference is expressed

Attack is not the only event that triggers such kind of discussions Racial, body type, and language preferences can promote un conscious bias in a few ways: Stereotyping: When we make assumptions about individuals based on their race, body type, or language preference, we are stereotyping them. These stereotypes can lead us to form un conscious biases, where we make assumptions about an individual's abilities or characteristics based on their race, body type, or language preference. Confirmation Bias: Once we have formed a stereotype about an individual, we tend to look for evidence to confirm our beliefs. This can lead to confirmation bias, where we focus on information that confirms our biases and ignore information that contradicts them. Implicit Association: Our brains naturally categorize information, and this can lead to implicit biases, where we associate certain characteristics with particular racial groups, body types, or language preferences. For example, we may un consciously associate athleticism with individuals who are tall and muscular, or intelligence with individuals who speak English as their first language. Overall, these biases can lead to discriminatory behaviors, as individuals may be treated unfairly based on their race, body type, or language preference, even if the person discriminating against them is not aware of their biases. It is important to recognize and challenge these biases to promote a more inclusive and equitable society.

Ignorance is really a bliss, I realised hard way after getting into some dark side of this fantasy world. Chicken and Lamb gotta be one of my favourites Sorry to say OP you will continue to be insulted until the end of the thread unless they take down the post down. They shouldn't allow these types of posts because they always end up going the same way. The OP will always be attacked. I hope the rest of your fab experience is better. All the best. The OP isn't being attacked though. Disagreeing with an opinion isn't attacking someone. Having a preference isn't being a racist. Of course, how that preference is expressed could be. It is important to recognize and challenge these biases to promote a more inclusive and equitable society. ...it'll never change" I don't think it will either.
