So WTAF is going on with people using filter apps for their pics or 10 year old ones on profiles- some are so good now you can't even tell untill you meet & it's like
"Who are you, you look nothing like your pics" then they act all surprised & hurt like you're the one in the wrong ffs.
I mean if you went to buy a brand new Mercedes & the dealership delivered a 10 year old fiat panda you'd do them under the trade descriptions act wouldn't you!

Mrs uses filters because she doesn't wear make up everyday. Personally I don't see the problem unless they completely change your face.
A light filter really is no different to make up for photo purposes.

I agree if they change your features alot it's wrong ,you're selling a version of you that isn't real.
It's like some people have pics from over 12 years ago,everyone will have changed in that time.
I had a social meet many years ago ,claimed go be late 30s then,easily in his 50s and used old photos.The social went no further as I don't like deception. |
