Hi all,
Exchanged messages with a nice couple recently,sent face pics and so on,but then they requested a colour picture otherwise things would go no further.....is it just me or was that odd?
Is it time to ditch the black and white gallery?

I did send a message asking why it would make a difference....but didn't get a reply!.....onwards and upwards, and thank you. |

But you don't unless your skin is grey, your hair is grey and you live in a monochrome world. Let's also be aware that monochrome pictures cover a multitude of things. And you did ask for an opinion to why people asked for a colour picture but then you don't want the answer!  |

Certainly not! Your pics are very good and you should be proud of them.
There is a reason why I could understand them wanting to see a RECENT colour shot, and that is because b+w's do tend to be 'ageless' - they could have been taken last week.... or they could have been taken 25 years ago. I have stuff I shot in the 80's on b+w which I show to people to explain this and they find it hard to put a date when they were taken to them.
If it's for any other recent other than 'currency' of the photos in your gallery (hate to bring skin colour into the equation, but....) then you're probably better off not meeting them.
