All yoga used to be considered tantric and only in modern times is associated with sex. It is actualy related to Kundalini and the opening of the third eye, or awakening. It is not to be confused with sensual sex.
The reason it became associated with sex is through the sacaral chakra, as this is related to the energy released by orgasm, this is in part kundalini energy. Siddhartha Gautama used this specific chakra point to help become awakened as he was a party prince that endulged in sex, his awakening led him to become a Buddha. |
