No shows

Hi.

Here we are sat in a Travelodge on our own because of no shows.

We had , to our surprise , had interest for tonight and tomorrow .

We booked the Travelodge and let them know and also my mobile number in case there was a problem .

Now nothing .

And the others, who agreed for a meet tomorrow has also gone silent , so we will stay tonight and go home tomorrow .

That will teach us .

What can we do , report them or something or just take it as a lesson and never do hotel meets again ?

You can report them but I suspect unless there are multiple complaints it will achieve little.

I don't understand some people - you look lovely - they're mental!!

I'm not sure reporting them will achieve anything (others will probably be able to advise you better than I)

Have you been to clubs? If you arrange to meet and they don't show, there's always someone else to play with.

We do do clubs hotels and home meets .

Not really had any trouble before but two together was a bit of a knock back .

Sadly its the downside of swinging i firmly believe some think swingers are sad desperate folk and think its funny to take piss lik3 this.

String the bastards up ( only joking notttttttt lol) not had this happen to us but must be so bloody annoying, dont let the idiots spoil your fun.

Thats a real shame - the last person I reported for a no show is still on the site.

Luckily, it wasnt a hotel meet.

Did you ever speak to them by phone? Its a shame and I can only sympathise as its not just time they have wasted, but money.

i dont understand some people, theres thousands on here would kill 4 a meet esp wth nice people like you, then u get treated like that, gives the genuine people a bad name on here.

i have booked hotels before and been let down

I now never book a hotel till i have met, most hotel will have spare rooms so i meet for a drink and if we get on phone round some local hotels to see who has a room, never had it yet where everywhere been fully booked

next time meet socially first, you never know even if they had turned up you may not have liked them in the flesh and not wanted to play with them so it would have still been a wasted room

We normally meet in the bar or nearby pub first , only once went straight into the room but that was ok and great fun was had by all .

We normally meet in the bar or nearby pub first , only once went straight into the room but that was ok and great fun was had by all .

ive met guys at hotels without a social meet first but only if they are paying, if im paying i want to know they will turn up before i hand any money over

How do you know tomorrow's ones won't turn up.

Are they online, you've messaged and had no response.

Or have you sent message,no response but they haven't been online.

Also if you have their numbers, can't you ring them?

We had a flurry of messages, agreed to meet Sunday then silence .

They have read our messages from then and no reply .

I know you've said that you've not had a problem before but I would be wary of a meet where they hadn't given a contact number.

Hiya,

We truly feel your pain xx

We had a meet planned yesterday (even had paid for a second room as part of a roleplay) and one of the guys who was the most vociferous in his excitement about the night suddenly went quiet and didn't answer any messages at all yesterday. An urgent check and he had deleted his entire profile both here and msn !!

Thankfully found a substitute to bring it up to 3 guests again but why do it Grr.

Only just started with hotel meets having been clubs only for a couple of years. Maybe we have to start adopting Ryannair strategy of overbooking in the hope that the requisite number appear on the day

Probably will go home and take the decorations down .

Still making use of the facilities here , including hallway ( see photo on profile ).

We have a meet arranged with some lovely people on Wednesday so not all bad .,

Worth bearing in mind one of the "safe meeting" tips from the FAQ on here:

"Don't put yourself in a situation where if someone doesn't turn up, you'll be upset. So don't travel 100s of miles and book into a hotel in the expectation of meeting someone unless you've met them beforehand."
