For those that don’t know what it is, (and I didn’t know until today) it’s a tight foreskin that doesn’t retract fully and expose the head of the penis.
I’ve always known I’ve had it obviously, and I’ve always taken extra care with hygiene etc and it hasn’t really bothered me until recently, perhaps the last year or so.
The reduce sensation from not having the tip exposed has led to delayed orgasm, or even sometimes not happening at all - which has then led to some frustration and even a little embarrassment or awkwardness, not only between us, but with swinging partners too, particularly when I’ve lost my headspace because of it.
So, after a referral from the doc, I’ve seen a specialist today who took one look at the old fella and said straight way he’s not surprised why I’m struggling, as my obvious phimosis is clearly impacting upon my ability to enjoy sex, and that with my age is more noticeable now than in my younger days, and he’s booked me in for a circumcision, which he believes will be a complete game changer!
So, this leads me to my question/s
1. Has anyone been the rough the same thing? And was it really a game changer?
2. Does a circumcised penis put you off?
3. Reading the notes - there’s a chance of reduced sensitive after the operation- has anyone experienced that?
Any advice appreciated |

1 - no (am female)
2 - yes as it's usually associated with the mutilation of infants and, y'know, there's a bit missing
3 - I'm in London so have a, erm, multicultural, sex life. Would say, in general, cut chaps have less sensitivity (require more repetitious and harder stimulation). Do know one person cut later in life (due to a different undiagnosed condition) who thinks it is better since - but he was in danger of losing his altogether before so probs not representative.
There's loads of info out there on less drastic measures you can try first.
Good luck whatever you decide

No it doesn’t put me off as I’ve played with a few men who are circumcised. If someone hasn’t experienced a “cut” penis then they might be a little unsure of how best to work with it. Just be clear on how best to use it with them |

You don't need a circumsion, that's the 'easy way out'. You talk about the loss of sensation bits that exactly what a circumsion will result in!
They can perform a op that cuts a 'V' into the ring that causes the restriction. That way you gain the use of a functioning foreskin.
Google 'Preputioplasty' - NHS might not do it, but its your cock so find the money! |

Would not put me off at all. In fact I prefer them.
A previous ex said that he felt so much better once it was done, and he didn’t lose sensation at all.
My son had to have medical circumcision at a young age, if it’s necessary get it done.

My mate at work had this (he was very open about it).... After a 'few' difficult sexual escapades he eventually went to Dr and got a circumcision in the end. He only took about a week to heel and he's over the moon with results now...
If it helps, he said the Dr told him it takes longer to heel and a bit more discomfort because he was 24 rather than most circumcision which are done very young... Still whats a week without sex/wanking... You'll be better in the long run |

"Thanks for all the replies and advice folks. Certainly going with the docs advice is the way forward and just have trust that all goes well, which I’m sure it will "
Could you private message me? Thinking of having it done |

Same happened to me. During an adventurous session my wife tore my Dick. I had the surgery and whilst you lose a little bit of sensation I find that women prefer it on average (just my own experience - one couple we used to play regularly with the woman loved it when it was circumcised ). The missus loves it and you’ll find the loss of sensation helps you to last a bit longer (if that’s an issue)
After the surgery was done and I couldn’t have a wank for 2 weeks but it was worth it. We had To take sexy gently for a short while but now it’s tougher than ever. Listen to your doc - if you’ve already tore it then the likelihood is that it will happen again. |
