Probably gonna sound stupid ,keep thinking I'd like to try the attic, but I'm so nervous ( shy and not very confident) and would probably be solo
I do av connections that av been but don't want to invite myself or feel like a gooseberry
As for what to wear that's another headache
Anyone else felt the same ? |

You don’t sound stupid at all OP. Nerves can get the better of anyone when they’re going to a club or a meet.
Have a look at the swing club section as people often advertise on the forums if they’re going to the Attic and you could maybe join in the conversation and get to know people.
I’d love to go for the first time. Maybe we could get a group of us to go together if you fancy that? Safety in numbers?
Keep in touch if yo like and any other woman that night like to go! Could be the start of some good nights out |

It can be a daunting thing trying a new place , especially if your shy. But you shouldn't once you've stepped through the doors, we are here to look after you and make sure have a safe and enjoyable visit. You can hang out with the female staff till you feel comfortable. |
