I could do with some advice really peeps as I've just and a good ear bashing of a certain lady for calling her a mature lady which I thought was fine so really what would you lady's of a certain age liked to be known as help |

One of the quickest ways to find yourself ignored - referring to us as "mature" or "older" women in an early message!
It is NOT a compliment!!!
It's one thing to sensitively mention that you enjoy an age difference after you've established contact.
But we get lots of opening one-liners saying things like "I love older women..." which go straight to the deleted bin.....! |

no need to mention age. perhaps refer to sagginess, wrinkliness or size instead. |

I'm just a person, a woman. Yeah, it's nice to be referred to as a lady, too.
The thing is, when a guy says to me he likes older or mature women I feel like I've become a fetish and that he's not thinking of me as an individual, so it's always a no! |

A lady !.. a Sexy lady ! .. Hell why does one have to differentiate age by a word. If older ladies appeal to you then really there is no need to mention it.
I was called elderly lady by one man of 37 and yes I really did take exception to it. I had a lover 20 years my junior and I dont think he sees me as old even now.;-)
we dont all act the age we are or infact look that age.
So just put up an age range beyond which you would not go. Then enjoy the rest   |
