Hi!

Bit of a random one, what do ladies tend to wear on their feet at clubs? Particularly ‘dress down’ clubs? We’re going to chams Darlaston this weekend and I’m not sure whether to take heels, flats or whether to be barefoot/just in stockings?

Thanks!

I love to see ladies in heels. It's whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Wouldn't do barefoot though as the floors can be dirty. Don't want dirty feet around someone's neck!

As a dress down club, generally easy footwear is the order of the day but if you feel comfortable in heels go for it! Generally I just wear flats.

" heels, flats or whether to be barefoot/just in stockings "

All of those options are fine. Go with whichever you feel comfortable and confident in.

They'll have lockers so pop a spare pair of shoes in your bag and then you can choose what you want to wear?

Bear in mind that there are quite a lot of stairs in Chams. Personally I can't navigate the stairs in very high heels, so tend to wear mind heels. I also take flip flops for going in the shower too. I don't go bare foot, you never know what is on the floors...

Uh, my go to is 6 inch block heels with soft soles and no sharp edges so they don't damage anything if we get carried away.

But I see barefoot, flats, sliders, stilettos, whatever when we're there.

Just whatever you're comfortable in is fine. If you have sharp shoes you may be asked to remove them to avoid damaging the furniture though.

First time I wore flats, the second time I felt more confident and wore heels. Stacked it down a set of stairs I'm sticking to flats from now on.

I go barefoot. Much easier to squeeze down the stairs and not end up on your face (so I find).

I'm hoping Gucci or Christian Louboutin ladies trainers are allowed as since tearing through my ACL I can't do heels/stairs & flats aren't good either

Personally I'd not go barefoot in communal areas, as all clubs from footfall tend to be a bit 'sticky', and if you smoke/vape you're treading outdoors, as are others coming back in again. Plus some folk aren't great on hitting the bowl in loos (male/female)

You can rock up in your finest Primani. They really won't care

Nr Cardiff or at Chams Darlaston

Flip flops or sliders are easy to wear, and to negotiate the steep stairs with. Last time we were there we met a guy wearing slippers. It’s whatever you’re comfortable in really.

I start off in heels and then lose them pretty quickly. End up barefoot.

In a dress down club it can tend to be a little bit slippery near the hot tubs and jacuzzis.I always will wear sliders or flip flops .In other clubs I will wear boots or heels.
