Why does Fab not make everyone get photo verified ? Surely this would help to eliminate fake profiles ?

Newcastle

It would make more sense should anything happen to anyone using the site and meeting that becomes a criminal offence

Otherwise it shows no protection of its users

I personally think everyone should have to do it

I think asking people to verify immediately will put many off. Especially couples. Imagine sitting with your significant other and deciding to give swinging a go, after a decade or two of vanilla life. You browse the internet and find this site, then both sign up to see what it's like. Immediately you are told you need to get naked and put a picture of you both on the internet. Nervous couples will disappear off this site quicker than a biscuit in a dog bowl!

A better option would be for restrictions to be applied to new accounts UNTIL they verify. For example; can't send or reply to messages. They can receive messages, but the sender is informed they won't get a reply.

This has an additional bonus of deterring the needy and desperate from bombarding every new account. Doing so will have little effect because the new profile cannot rely.

Also agreed with this idea, however it's not a must that you be naked to be photo verified.

Not sure about the ‘protection’ comment ,

It’s an adult site and people need to be cautious any way.

Photo verified or not.

A blanket photo veri rule divides people.

Not sure if the point I’m making makes sense .

I’m sure the admins have obviously thought of this too.

Guess you have filters and also common sense

Not everyone that isn’t photo verified a ‘fake’ which seems to be thrown about too much here which in return is negative

The green tick is meet/cam verified. The green flag is photo verified.

Honestly, I think it's random if you're asked to photo verify or not.

If you're photo verified but not verified by meets, is that not enough for people to proof you're not fake??

You don't need to be naked for a verification photo.

Nah not really. Quite a lot of the time you get people becoming photo verified and then using someone else photos to send to other people as we have found out.

Spotty little teenager in bedroom of mums house becomes hot ripped guy that goes to gym a lot. Very hard to catch out unless the silly cnut uses a pic from a guy at your gym

I don't think it's random, I think there are certain triggers that the algorithm looks for.

It does make a lot sense. If you’re here to meet, then why not be photo verified. Adds a bit more protection for folk on here

Terrible idea. There's no way the data security on this place is up to that. And it provides no protection anyway.

I use Fab on the understanding that anything I write on here could be anywhere on the web at any time. If required to photo verify I simply wouldn't use it.

Professionally and personally a lot of 'intended to be private' messages are very different from a weird little hostage photo. Which frankly I don't even want the admins to see.

I've met three ppl off here. All photo and in person meet verified. Only one looked *remotely* like his photos (and he looks a lot like them - really hot). I mean the others were obviously the same ppl as in their pictures - but they were not even vaguely representative or recent. And even if they were they could still have been just as much trouble as any random stranger.

No idea what ppl think photo verification will actually protect them *from* really. Except maybe the dangers of actually meeting a single woman on here!

We’ve never been photo verified. We take no notice of it because it’s far too easy to fake.
