I normally wear a hood when I'm meeting, and I've recently thought about getting a wig to add to my outfits. However, I'm concerned that a wig wouldn't stay on over the hood. Any (helpful!) thoughts or advice are welcome x |

Not wanting to be rude but I think it would have to be one or the other.
I don't think a wig and a hood are compatible, that's only my opinion of course. Unless you can find a wig that would go with your hood.
I hope that last bit made sense. |

You’d have to find some sort of way to hold the wig in place. Get a wig and maybe fashion some sort of hoops that go around your ears. It’ll be some sort of bodge job, but with enough experimentation you should get something that’ll work.
Good luck |

Why would you put a wig on over the hood?
Love hood play as it anonymises the person I’m using |

That's my issue, trying to find a wig that would go with the hood and stay in place |

Hmm, could be an option. I was hoping to avoid a bodge, but if that's what it needs.... |

My face is a LONG way from being convincing, hence the hood, but I want to become more girly when I'm dressed, hence the wig. Trying to get the best of both worlds |

"You can get hoods with bunchies/ponytails
I have a latex one with interchangeable hair so I can change my hair colours to suit "
I hadn't thought about one of those until Myvanwy suggested it earlier. I think they're definitely the way forward |

"The wig would probably stay on if you tie it back (assuming it's a long hair wig), however doing that repeatedly will ruin the wig over time."
I guess I didn't really understand what you were asking. You want to wear a wig OVER a hood?
I'm genuinely confused as to how that could work. |

Yes, that's what I first had in mind, but the suggestions of the hoods with hair fixed on is far better. |
