Everybody is a good person at heart, we were born this way. We learn what is perceived as evil. We live in a reality where duality does not exist. As above, as below. Good and evil are two sides of the same coin.

You dont have to prove anything.

I bend over backwards to my ex. But her narc mum has her twisted around her finger

So no matter how nice I am when we get really close again and she starts smiling and enjoying life her jealous mum twists the knife and it's back to square one

Tried being super nice to mum no joy.
