Can anyone recommend a secure option for storing all my naughty photos and videos so I can get them off my camera roll. Ideally need easy access to them for posting on fab etc.

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

As long as you consider Google secure, set up a specific account and email the photos there.

Failing that, a hard drive with sign in access.

Not really anything for the phone per day. Such as passwords etc.

Storage such as a google account probably best option as you can access it with out it being seen to be on your phone etc

There was an app on iPhone called calculator, it looked like a calculator, but with the right passcode it opens up to a pic saving app, you simply transfer them from camera roll, then delete from roll and they are saved in the app safe and discreet

There are lots of apps for this, but the big issue is they are usually just on your phone and not backed up. If something goes wrong with the app or you lose your phone then the pics are lost I've lost so many photos like that unfortunately.

Pcloud gives 5GB of free online storage, if you invite others it goes up to 10GB free. I use it to keep those pictures away from my Google accounts. Message if you want an invite as it gives me more free storage

With the latest iPhone software upgrade, you have a hidden folder that you can only open with facial recognition

Plenty of storage apps around that will give us some free usage. It depends how much you have to store. I don't know how well they work with ios, but I use box dot net. There's also onedrive. Both are cloud storage, so you can remove photos from your phone & you won't lose anything if anything happens to your phone.

Thanks for the iPhone tip. Works well. Just go to photo, click the three dots and select hide. It sends the photo to a hidden album at the very bottom of your albums within the utilities folder. Perfect

And in your settings you can hide the hidden folder - so it doesn’t appear in your album unless you change it at settings

OneDrive is good - you get something in it called “Personal Vault” which can only be unlocked by re-entering your password, Face ID, thumb print etc.

Accessible on iOS, android and desktop/laptop.

Why don’t you just hide the photos? You also have the option to lock and password protect hidden photos. Works for me

Vaulty. It's on the app store. Dead easy to use. Unfortunately it's not add free though.

‘Photo Vault’

I’ve used this for years now, and changed between iPhones as the app is backed up to iCloud. It’s clear what it is but you can have two passwords, one for the good stuff, and one for a sample images.

Most of the clouds have a feature a vault or safe which you'll use a password

Yeah, I like the ‘hide’ option in iOS.

LOL my back-catalogue is on a SD card which is very easy to tape out of the way

… and it’s not online on cloud storage which, you never know, could get compromised

USB drive, or removable media, kept in a locked tin.

You upload anything on the internet and you give the IT folk at the company full control over it.

Samsung phones have "Secure folder" which is perfect for this and can even be backed up. I'm amazed Apple haven't implemented something similar for iPhone yet.

For real good level of security - good password is a very minimum, does not matter where you store the data.

Some password managers offer you safe storage of the data.

You can store the data on encrypted USB or external hard drives. Not easy to access but reasonably secure.

If in cloud (like Google Drive), I would create a separate account.
