If you are in a couple/married
and one of you is having to take a break from swinging
but they are happy for the other one to carry on solo until they can play again
Are you better off still communicating using the couples profile.
Or
Create a single profile with a link on it to your couples profile and visa versa?

I’m sure many others will disagree but I’d say it’s a good idea to make an additional single profile in this case and then pick up on the couples profile if/when you’re meeting as a pair again |

This.
Make reference to the couples profile though so that people can see you're playing with consent.
If you use the couples one you run the risk of not being taken seriously, especially if it's the woman taking a break, as they'll assume it's just a single guy trying to get round message filters.

Likewise I agree with the above.
It's simpler and causes less confusion to have a singles profile for loan activities/interactions. I am also part of a couple but we both have single accounts for our lone activities as well as one for our joint enterprise. There no problem on a singles account bio explaining your part of a couple but this account is aimed for those interested in solely in you in a lone capacity. |

A couples profile helps moderate some of the messages, even if the guy isn't playing. L had a single profile on here a while back.
A lot of the same people who messaged her old account have messaged our couples account, and are vastly more respectful when it could be a guy answering the message. For us it's another layer of filter.
We justified not having single accounts as well as a joint because we're more than happy verifying who's talking if it ever gets questioned. And having another active account would just cause us a little too much confusion keeping track of things. Can't appeal to everyone, and that's sort of the point. |

We did exactly that, made a single guy profile while Cherry timed out. Now she's back we have both lol... |

Ultimately it's down to what ever it is your both comfortable with, I decided to create a single guys profile when the wife decided she didn't want to carry on swinging so that there was no illusion that anyone would be meeting us both, I've given reference to our couples profile just to try and prove I'm not just cheating and I've hidden all pictures of my wife with a the exception of a few face pics on the friends only pictures. But if she ever asked me to remove our couples account completely I would do. |
