OP, I think you've just nailed it right there!
Some basic guidance would be to add spaces after commas and full stops. It's basic advice and sounds very nit-picky, but people will make instant judgements on here and you wouldn't want the simplest of things to be the reason your turned down or ignored.
Other than that you seem to have had some success in the past, perhaps think back to what you did then and do it again?

Don't put your age in the blurb unless you are on top of your admin and update each year... The profile does it automatically and as is just looks like you're disinterested

Update your photos
Just improve your shop window..
