When I’m contacting a person or couple for the first time I have a very poor message answer rate. Most of the time I’m just ignored. Does anyone have any advice on what to write to make me stand out a bit. I read every profile before I make contact and I tailor each message to suit as best I can. All help and advice will be gratefully received. |

Just say hello hope your doing well today and say a bit about yourself. Make yourself stand out. Saying that it's not hard to stand out on here, because 90% of our mesaages are 'hi how are you' and that's pretty much it.
Our advise is head to clubs and socials. Always will be the best way to meet people.
We just attend clubs, much easier and better than ping pong messages for months on end and failed meets. |

Op sorry to be blunt, but you've written nothing on your profile that would make anyone want to reply.
What are you offering meets ? What are your interests etc.You need to sell yourself as there's so many men on fab.
Or as the couple above recommend go to a club or organised social event . |

OP: you've asked about messaging and not specifically asked about profile advice so we can't say much there, suffice to say that if we had a message from you then:
(a) if it didn't have some evidence that you'd read our profile, or
(b) it contained nothing but statents or banal questions
we'd delete it and not reply. Assuming it did meet the above, we'd look at your profile. And from there we'd choose not to reply unfortunately.
However - you say you have a poor response rate. What do you consider poor? What would be good?

See what they've wrote in a forum post as conversations are welcome. Cock pics can kill your chances in seconds, save them in a private folder, the flowers pic is good, as that's a little different and women in general won't block you for showing pretty flowers.
Look at other blokes profiles and see what the opposition are up to. Don'tjust copy, just take note and generate something witty and interesting. |

Your profile is your shop window. You want and need to entice people in to have a look and hopefully make a purchase. If there is nothing on show in your window, then nobody is going to come in, no matter how good your messages are. People want to know something - quite a lot actually - about you. Although your profile doesn`t have to be as long as ours, it does need more information. Good luck. |

You have been on Fab for 9 weeks and had 4 meets.... I'd say that you're doing better than most!
After reading a message I have a quick peek at the profile and decide from there if it's worth replying. Unless it was an absolute standout message which I would give a polite thank you but no thank you to, I would probably delete . For me, taking things past the initial message staged requires a good profile. |

I do exactly the same.
Always the sort of message you would say to a non fabs person. Never rude, never sex talk.
And likewise most never even bother with a no thanks.
Sometimes I even suggested blocking me to save repeating a message in a years time when I've forgotten their name.
And still nothing.
It's because there's 100 of us to one of them.
Just the way it is.

If I receive a message, I read that and look at the profile. If the profile doesn't interest me I delete. Sorry that's just the way it is.
You seem to be doing alright though with 4 meets in just 9 weeks. |

I tailor each msg to suit,
That sounds like you will write what ever you think they want to hear, and tbh couples can pick up on that, we have had many msgs from single males telling is what he thinks we want to hear..what they forget is that on their profile it tells a very different story. |

I look at profile first and if like yours has no effort whatsoever I wouldn’t reply |
