Fake Profiles

We have just had yet another single guy with a cpl profile,we had another one just a couple of weeks ago and the guy actually admitted to us that he was a single guy and had got profile pic of the internet,we reported this guy to admin yet he still on here as a couple. When we sussed this guy out with a cpl profile,who had just been emailing us he had the cheek to block us!! We have reported him but no doubt nothing will be done about this guy either.

it is very hard to have to put up with fakes i know. but keep reporting his profile and it will be looked into. email admin at bottom of page i.e. Contact us and tell them that he admitted it to you. you cannot name and shame in forum but u can in email to admin

We have done that.

We know there are always going to be fakes on here,just annoying that nothing seems to be done when we have reported them..

Best of it is we do meet single guys the same as a lot of fems and couples so why do they do it?

Also,do they think you are that thick that they are not going to be sussed?

I'm not sure how Admin deal with reports, wonder if they would like to say so here?.

it could be that they may not feel you reporting the profile is enough evidence to delete said profile, after all it's very easy to report and may not be for the reason stated, just a thought.

Why do they do it? and do they think we're thick?

quite possibly they believe they can pull the wool over our eyes, not realising they are by far not the first to try.

we've had a few that message from a couples profile, then message again stating the lady is away for some time, or another reason why only the guy will/can play right now etc etc.

it could be that they may not feel you reporting the profile is enough evidence to delete said profile, after all it's very easy to report and may not be for the reason stated, just a thought.

We look at various factors before removing a profile. Amongst other things, we look to verify that the complaint is true, where possible. We also look to see if the user has been reported by others.

If we believe someone to be fake or abusive then we remove them (for example if there is a pattern of behaviour or if we verify that the user is fake/abusive).

It's not fair on users if we remove someone who (lets say) has one report of being "fake", and from that report we're unable to verify what has occurred.

PLEASE if you spot idiots/fakers, report them.

My solution to (possible) fakes? Check for green flag (photo) verification. That way, a supposed couple/female would have had to send in a photo of them/her holding a card with her id and site name and date.

My only exception to this rule is if I've seen said couple/female on cam. Simples!

We have had two this week so far. Even got as far as msn and deciding a date to meet up. Its only when they don't answer the phone and start coming up with all sorts of reasons the ladies can't chat together that the penny drops. By then they have seen all your private pics, probably downloaded them as well!

Looking at the verifications list as well as the green flag might help.A few postings on a profile isn`t fail safe but it`s pretty reassuring.

We find the best way to filter out the fakes is to insist on a fem - fem phone chat at a very earlier stage... its amazing how the frauds melt away very quickly saving you from pointless pinging of emails.

it actually baffles me that u cant suss fakes the minute u start contact. if i met couples i would insist on fone chat to both parties. is that so difficult for people to do???if it is then sack em and move on.

Actually when a 'fem' starts with any of the excuses below:

1) "I don't have photo verification because I don't know how" (See home page! Duh!!)

2) "Admin take too long to approve my photos, I've been waiting 4 days" (typically between 2 - 24 hrs however)

3) "I don't have meet verifications because I'm discreet and don't want people knowing who I've met" (Right,.. so you've got a bunch of supposed "chatted on phone" verifications?)

4) "I don't have face pics on show because I don't want them downloaded" OR "I don't have face pics in private cause of my job" OR "I don't have face pics to put in msn display window cause I don't like to use msn/give out my email address"

5) "I don't like to use webcam cause I don't want to be pestered by perves while chatting to you"/"can't afford a webcam" (though cheap one is £10 from Asda)/"Don't know how to install it" (Instruction manual?)

...Any of the above and I think "Right, so you can see my face pics, can see me on cam, but I'm supposed to go on good faith as far as you're concerned - sorry, being female doesn't entitle you to a "take the piss" free pass.

We did report him and i told him he had been reported,he even had the cheek to say we were the fakes,even though we have been verified quite a few times..

It looks like the idiot has now deleted his profile,but no doubt he will make another one up. xx

I just had to. It wasn't my fault.

Some "female" that had contacted me trying to convince me she was good at oral and wanted a meet but was clearly wasting my time especially as she didn't have a face pic (only pic she had was a boob shot - and nothing in private).

Eventually went back to look at her profile:

1) No green flag.

2) 1 "phone verification"

3) The person who gave her that had a few "phone" verifications himself.

And ll the time suggesting I could be a fake (despite having met "one or two" people as well as been to socials and organising events) hence why she wants to see pictures - but having none herself. So I reported "her" profile. Another fake.

Its so annoying and time consuming,we dont have much free time,due to kids and work,but we will keep on reporting these idiots if we suspect they are fakes x

Let your gut instinct take over.

If people send you mail and you check their profile out and they don't have what you would like on it, be that verifications/pics etc etc then either say no thanks or delete.

You don't have to waste your time then.

If you think the profile looks good and decide to chat and then think they are fake, as Admin says up there, report the profile and they will do their own checks.
