Following an awful experience a few years ago we are ready to explore again however we were wondering where to begin? Club or Private first? Recommendations please?

I think only you can decide what is right for you but maybe visit a club and just watch, if you feel comfortable join in with someone if invited.

The bad experience was through another site, not this one. So far on this site everyone we have spoken to have been lovely.

Go to a club, at least you can say 'no thanks' and walk away, not as easy to get rid of someone if you've invited them home. Plus, you can choose who you want, and maybe have fun with more than one person/couple.
