I've recently rejoined and started to send messages/pics out. In the last week, I've had three replies from three different women, who have asked if I'm the kitchen fitter they spoke to before (I'm not!). Two of them weren't keen to chat to me because he had been rude/aggressive to them and they couldn't be dissuaded otherwise. The third sent a rude reply saying what an arsehole I was and blocked me before I could respond. So, what can I do? Clearly I must look like this kitchen fitter guy but how do I get around the bad reputation he created for himself? |

It happens, I recently saw a lovely couple in the Attic that popped in for a quickie. They invited me to sit next to them and watch and it was a very hot show. We exchanged Fab names because I wanted to give them a glowing Veri but the name was very close to another name and I picked the wrong one. Needless to say the wrong couple were confused. Sorted eventually though. |

That's unfortunate. Is it similar looks orva similar username?
You're going to be damned whatever you do, though, because "I'm not him" is also exactly what he'd say if he'd joined with a new profile! |

I assume you had more pics on your profile from which they incorrectly identified you? Maybe change your pic(s). Though only 1 currently so I can’t imagine anyone getting it wrong from that |

He says in his original post that he started sending msgs with pics and that's where they are getting his identity from not his public ones. |

Thanks for all your advice, people.
I did think about posting at the top of my profile, "No, I'm not the kitchen fitter" - but as one of you has already pointed out, wouldn't he do the same if he wanted to try and contact again those he'd previously annoyed?
I think extensive plastic surgery is the only solution!

Are you sure you weren't a kitchen fitter on your previous profile? Sounds strange that 3 women have identified you! Perhaps change to being a bathroom fitter instead |

I often read on here that people have had thier pictures used by others
Are you uding the same pics now that you used when you were last on here?
If you are, it could be that a fake account has been using your images.
You could add a watermark to your pictures.
You could search for all men within your age range and within 5 miles to see if anybody is using your old pics.
Rather tham mention the 'kitchen fitter' on your profile you could add a line saying 'pics are watermarked to stop them being used by fake profiles' |
