I recently tried dogging for the 1st time. Sat in local spot known for it. There is several cars but nothing happening. As I drove out I noticed 2 cars had couples in them.
Am I correct that the couple must invite you over by flashing there lights of have I been missinformed?
Any other tips would also be appreciated.
Thanks |

I haven't been but have often wondered what the protocol was. I recently read a very informative profile which gave a few ideas. Are they right? If you flash the brake lights twice you're interested in playing. A return flash of headlights and interior light going on is an invite to watch? Any other recognised signals? |

There is no protocol, flashing headlights/ brake lights/ interior lights went out with the dinosaurs..
However if someone is running around naked shouting COME FUCK ME - that might be an indication..
Other than that say hello, if they’re not there for ‘that’ they will let you know.. |

Etiquette for doggers
Be polite and courteous at all times.
Flashing headlights or brake lights – are there any other doggers nearby?
Interior light on – we want to be watched.
Window half down – oral sex is on offer.
Window fully down – touching and fondling is allowed.
Door open – full sex is on offer.
If you see someone you recognise, do not address them by name!
It is extremely rare for the police to turn up, but if they do, do not ask them if they want to join in.
Do not to take any valuables with you.
Filming is normally allowed, but put your camera away if you are asked to do so.
Do not wander around looking into people's cars unless their headlights have been flashed or their interior light is on.
Etiquette for watchers
Hygiene is paramount. Make sure you’re clean and fresh as if you’re dirty and smelly there aren’t too many people who will let you watch.
Take a condom or two in case you decide to join in.
If you want to join in, it is essential you ask first.
Make sure you understand the dogging signals. So you can watch if the interior light is switched on, you can watch, chat and have a grope and and a fondle in if the windows are rolled down, or you can join in if the car door has been opened from the inside.
Take all your belongings with you afterwards, as no one likes to see used condoms lying around in a public place.
Etiquette for participants
Make sure you and your partner know each other's limits. Discuss what you want to do, what to expect and if you will invite others to join in.
Be clean – if you want others to join in, you will need to be clean and hygienic too.
Always practise safe sex. Bring plenty of condoms, and lubrication if you need it.
Give clear signals to other doggers. The normal dogging signal is to flash your lights and turn the interior light on to let others come and watch you; wind your window down to give them a closer look and let them have a fondle, and to open a door if you’d like them to join in.
Another dogging signal that people commonly use is to turning the interior light on and off a couple of times and then leaving it on, to let people know you are ready and want to be watched.

Most of this is spot on, though I'm not sure how many people abide by the 'rules' these days. However, I would say it is extremely risky to presume fiming is allowed.
Ask first, or wait to be invited. |
