Hi all I have always wanted to go to a sex club swingers party but being married for 20 years I know my wife isn’t interested in that sort of thing so I need to keep it a secret
So my question is I need an excuse for being away the night any ideas of what I could say |

If you'd asked me a year ago would Mrs go to a club with me I'd have said not in a million years. However, I asked; we went to our first club and haven't looked back since. It's fantastic to share the experiences we have together. No 'guilt', no excuses required. In fact I prefer to see her have fun than play myself!
That's just my experience. But if that doesn't work for you I'd probably suggest a work thing or a night out with your mates/sleepover |

Really worth throwing 20 years of marriage away for a trip to a club?? You’ve an easier excuse as to why you shouldn’t go. |

If you love your wife then don't do it! Imagine her humiliation, don't wreck your life for sex. |

Best to be honest with your wife.
Alternatively you could explore the lifestyle together and have a much better time than being on your own. Discuss this with her at the right time. I’d avoid words like “sex club” and “swingers” as they don’t portray things very well. Instead use words like “private clubs” to meet people, socialise and explore the lifestyle. Be reassuring that if either of you don’t like anything then you can both just go home.
Best of luck, and don’t be a prick. |

In practical terms, what excuse you use will depend upon your normal routine.
If you are not in the habit of spending a night away, then suddenly finding a plausible excuse to do so will be difficult.

Swinging is ethical non monogamy. Cheating isn’t part of that. |

""Darling, I've taken up ornithology and simply must go out tonight to see the elusive Nightjar".
Should be fine."
On a serious note OP, if you've spoken about it and she's not in the least bit interested then there's a great way to sort out your problem.
Have a wank and move on. OR (and this is your decision to make not anyone elses) tell her that you want to separate because if you do it and she finds out she'll probably separate part of you from the rest of you. |

Sorry as a married couple we would say if you cannot talk to your wife about swinging it is not for you. If you do go using an excuse, make no mistake your wife will know by the way you are the next day |

"Go to a daytime party, like the rest of the married blokes do!"
True...reckon 75% of the guys at VA on a Wednesday afternoon are married. They all rush off at 4pm leaving us the hot-tub to ourselves for an hour.

Hmmm. Maybe a cliche, but honesty i usually the best policy. Maybe make some moves to mention you interest to her - ease it into conversation and build up to it if you're a bit nervous about going all in straight away. Following these tastes as secrets sometimes isn't the best approach ... good luck |

To be fair, that event always ended at 3pm, the 5pm ending is a recent thing and we're just not used to it and leave around 3pm still. We're both certainly not married! |
