Hi all.
We were talking the other about holding a private party. We did it a couple of times before but lived in a flat so numbers were limited. Now we are about to move to a nice size house we thought it could maybe happen again. We even planned for a friend of ours who is a tradesman to conceal a sex swing in the lounge and do a few other jobs to make it party ready.
The question is... would many couples (sorry single guys...couples only!) Be interested in one? It would be in SE London with good transport links etc. Can't offer accommodation but we would have plenty of space to have a good time... |

I am sure lots would be interested but very dependent on date and how much notice. Also in our experience better if you go searching for people interested in parties and with veris if you want to make it more play. You need to market it a bit and bare in mind only a small % of Fab couples will see it on Forum. Best of luck with it - certainly more hard work than people realise. Should say that we could be interested - touch far for us but could be possible depending on date. |

Been ages since we've attended a good party. No one has hosted one in our area in years. Last one we saw was pre lockdown and that was 60 miles away.
We cant host (family at home) but we loved going to them when they used to happen.
So yes, there are those who would attend.

I've organised several hundred parties and the biggest piece of advice is to not assume just because someone says they will attend that they actually will.
Control of numbers and mix of people is important so don't be shy in telling all prospective guests that they shouldn't be on the invite list unless they are 100% sure.
Once you've done a couple of events it gets much easier as you'll have come up with a formulae that suits you. |

Depends what you are planning but last time we charged a small amount to cover expenses - soft drinks, nibbles, some new waterproof sheets , heating up hot tub, cleaning, etc. We had lots of people interested and said they would come and had told them about the money. As soon as we asked for payment in advance, it really sorted out the serious people. Many paid pretty much immediately, some went completely silent, some suddenly had other plans they needed to check on |

Good point about covering costs and if advance payment can be arranged even better for establishing who are serious about attending. A telephone conversation prior to the party is also a good tactic. |
