Hello lovelies!
I'm sorry I'm making this post, I know these posts can get tiresome but its gotten to the point where I need assistance.
I've been on this site for many years and in the past I used to have success with meeting people. Nowadays, I struggle to get a response.
The latest example of this, I was having a fun conversation with a lady for a couple of days, then I saw she looked at my profile then stopped responding. Could someone tell me if there's something offensive or off-putting about my profile? I normally only message people if I think we're a good match to have fun together. I understand that I'm not entitled to a response and it normally doesn't bother me but now I'm wondering what's wrong with my profile, and what can I do to be more appealing.

It all depends on what messages you are sending. I read profiles before opening the message.
I didn’t think photos with black borders were allowed.
Your profile is okay but I read it and think what do I get if that makes sense. Talks about what you like done to you or are looking for but not really what you’re offering. And I don’t mean money.
So for me, personally, I wouldn’t reply |

You're perceiving cause and effect where it may not exist. If the problem was your profile, why would she engage in the original "fun conversation"? The fact that she looked at your profile means nothing - she could have clicked the wrong message header by mistake.
Fundamentally, if you want a reason why that conversation died, there's only one person to ask....unless she's blocked you, and assuming she's willing to provide that kind of feedback.

Got to say, that word "professional " puts a lot of people off.

I'll be completely honest, I put in the word "professional" very recently as a kind of test to see if it helps as I see that in profiles all the time. I never actually know what people mean by professional, I assume they mean they work in a professional job or something haha.
Thank you for the feedback though I've removed that word now. |
