My trusty Lovehoney mains wand (the lazy Dom's friend) has decided to expire. Looking at Amazon, there are a number of ones around the £20-30 mark - probably no good but wonder if anyone had any views? Amazon reviews seem quite +ve..... |

I know you're asking about a wand, but have you actually considered going a bit different way? I am a very happy owner of the original wand which I had many great times with. However, recently I got myself a massage gun from Lidl and it is amazing! You can get extra attachments and change it into mini portable fuck machine. I love it, it makes me cum buckets, and it's good for sore muscles, too. |

The cheaper ones do an adequate job and you may find them acceptable but if you have the funds I would strongly reccomend a Doxy Number 3.
The Doxy Number 3 is smaller and lighter than the usual Magic Wand but just as powerful as a regular Doxy. The smaller size makes it much better for couples play. |

Before dismissing them think about how many times you will want to use it and how many years you might have it. You might find you are giving up a lot of extra pleasure for a small amount of money.
As well as having a more powerful motor the Doxy is a better build, looks more impressive and is more reliable. It will last longer than cheaper versions so spending less money now may be false economy. |

You're showing a very American attitude here. Just because something might be cheap/budget, it doesn't necessarily mean it's not good quality or that it's not going to last. |

I'm speKing from experience. I have owned an E Bay sourced unit purchased for £15, a Lovehoney version at around £60 a std Doxy at £100 and a Number 3 Doxy at £125 and I can assure you that as well as the step up in price the quality of build and power of the motor is also better at the higher price points.
The reason for the number of wands I've owned is not just a personal matter its because for five years I ran weekly sex parties and wands were supplied for the guests use so they have been well road tested. |

Unfortunately not, so you do need to be a bit careful. Mine has survived a few splashes already |

Unfortunately not, so you do need to be a bit careful. Mine has survived a few splashes already"

I do use mine quite a lot, but much prefer the cheaper ones from Amazon.
