Does your nervousness ever get the better of you? Do you try and make a good impression but balls it up due to nervousness?

Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

Yes. I am a nervous nelly sometimes. Chin up though we all make mistakes.

Mind you, I don't know what you did due to your nervousness.

A great way of describing it. I hate getting nervous and anxious.

I am glad it is not just us men who do it.

Oh well, I only have myself to blame for being a clutz.

Life is a journey, the key ingredient for relative success being that you should try to learn from your mistakes, errors, misjudgements, indiscretions, etc., and try to move on from them as quickly as possible, as others do too.

Acknowledge the mistakes, analyse them, but don't hammer yourself forever.

Yes. If I could turn the clock back about 28 hours I would do.

I need to learn when to shut up and when to stop typing.

You mean like going to an interview, shaking hands and saying "thank you" instead of your name then knocking a glass of water over on the desk. No, never done anything like that...

I'm usually a bucket of nerves ..especially around ppl I don't know ..I would say I get overwhelmed easily. To counteract I take a shot of vodka or a glass of wine.

Luckily this is only as it relates to non-business stuff so I won't be sacked for drinking on the job , fairly confident in that arena

when I was younger I would often sit and watch my crush ..... the day did come that he did approach me and turns out I was his crush too .... Nonetheless I've never been able to talk to him nothing comes out right to this day. .... This was when I was 15 ....fast forward another 15 years we met up as he moved to the US and would only visit the island occasionally. At 30 years old we could both only muster hi and stare at each other a bit...we both have always been so nervous in each other's presence. I mean we can chat online or he'd write me a letter (this is how I knew I was his crush) but I person we are both utterly useless ..to this day .

I used to say I should have been a gymnast with the amount of times I put my foot in my mouth (nerves make me talk 10x faster than I would in a less nerve wracking situation!) xx

Yes nervousness and anxiety

I laugh hysterically when I'm uncomfortable and/embarrassed

Literally can not control it

I stutter like crazy when I'm nervous or angry lol

Sometimes when I'm nervous as well I over react about the silliest little things.

Sometimes I have to block certain situations out of my head cause the memory makes me so embarrassed

In the early days of swinging I was nervous, as immdure we all have been there, since have understood my assignment and feel happy n comfortable in a club

Home or hotel meets are too uncomfortable, which is where the nerves take over

I'm definitely going to be nervous going to my first club event but think afew vodka shots, I will be fine. I have to be as it's a long way to go and it's new experience. But that's what life is all about, right?

Often find it difficult to break in on a group of people when they obviously know each other and I'm the new girl. Doesn't help that I suffer from mild tinnitus, not enough to be too distressing, but does affect my hearing in loud environments. Feel very stupid if I can't tell what someone is saying and have to keep asking them to repeat.
