Hi I've found it increasingly hard to get a hold of the STI postal kits in the Stockport and Manchester area without being under 25 years old.
There seems to be no real regular way if you are wanting to be tested and over the age of 25, at least online. The northern doesn't do my postcode and Stockport you have to be under 25 to receive the free test.
Can anyone help where I can get tests from for free online within the Stockport area. Or is it just as easy to walk into the Northern at MRI and they'll give you a test over the counter?
Any help be greatly appreciated
Thanks |

Is paying for peace of mind and knowing your SH status that much?
Can you not go to a SH clinic?
Ours has a deal with SH.UK to offer free tests to help reduce the number of people needing to attend. |

Oh god no not at all I'd happily pay.
It's just one of those where you'd think they'd not have an age limit on these things. Surely it's the older generation just as much as the younger who need to use them |

We use the comprehensive test kit from test me. It’s £85 and results takes 3-4 days from when they receive the samples.
They test for:
Chlamydia
HIV
Gonorrhoea
Syphilis
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis C
Trichomonas
No age limit as you’re paying for it |

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. Wrong age and wrong postcode. I phoned my local clinic (where I went pre Covid) and told them this and they agreed to send me a kit in the post as they wanted to avoid me going down. |
