Can't accommodate mean you can't go to her house and she can't provide hotel. That mean youtake her to your place. Can't travel means she is not ready to get out of her postecode or go miles away. That mean you go closer to her or you must live not too far. |

"A bit confusing realy "
I don't see why? She may be married, live with children, care for elderly parents or house share, therefore she cannot accommodate.
If she does not have a car, she is then reliant on public transport and it can be expensive travelling so therefore she is probably only willing to meet those who live not far from her.
Not confusing really is it? |

Or she may choose not to accommodate to say being talked about by neighbours if she lives in a little village, or she may just choose not too, lots do as their home is not a knocking shop |

Usually means you have to provide the accommodation and the transport. Shouldn't be an issue if you live in the same town and drive.
Or if you're from out of town be willing to use the extra fuel and pay for a hotel. |

"Hotel is surely traveling think there needs to be an option saying how far you would travel"
.
I have a Travelodge within walking distance from home, and do not consider going there as travelling. |

we meet people in our home occasionally and don't consider it to be a knocking shop in any way |

"Hi this might sound a silly question but if it says on a female profile looking to meet guys but cant accom or travel how can they meet ????"
whenever I see this I assume that the person isn't meeting, it never occurred to me to think otherwise I'll have to rethink now as it seems to have different meanings for different people |

"I have a fuck buddy at end of rd i consider it as traveling as im not accomodating"
.
It may be to you, however, not necessarily the case for other people.
You asked for opinions in an open forum, therefore, please be prepared to accept those that differ from your own!

For women, it's usually a sign they have a young family and you can't go to hers and she can't travel outside her home town. The terms are a bit ambiguous and vary according to who is stating them.

But it is a comment I have seen by several women when accommodating was being discussed on the forums, so no disrespect was meant by it and I was merely trying to answer the OP's comment |

If I have to get in my car to go and meet someone, I would deem that travelling, wandering to the end of the road I would not deem as travelling |

I have always thought cannot accommodate and cannot travel meant exactly what they mean not a code for not meeting people or am I missing something |

"Hotel is surely traveling think there needs to be an option saying how far you would travel"
Not necessarily as I say how far I am prepared to travel on my profile, others don't but either meet people whilst on holiday or can travel round the world, how would you define that? |

It's not just females who do this - I've seen single guys who've said 'no accom' as well as 'do not travel', and it's made me wonder how they ever get many meets. I think these men don't think it through so well, but appreciate for single women, with kids etc at home, that things can be more complex.
It's best to say something in your profile about how/when you meet really. I prefer to accom, occasionally go to clubs, but state this in the text part. I would gladly travel to Australia for a meet, as long as the First Class flight ticket is pre-paid etc - I can be flexible. |

No I think it just depends on who is posting it and who is reading it
Ihave seen some profiles where the person says they aren't meeting at the moment and tehy put can't accommodate can't travel so I just put 2 and 2 togetehr and got 47 |

"I'm with KinkyKytten on this one. I'd not class meeting someone within my hometown as travelling, but anything further afield I would."
I agree with that, though I usually assume can't travel and can't accomodate as meeting at clubs. |
