Face pic preference - Smiling or Brooding?

For face pics, do people have a general preference for smiling pics or brooding pics?
In my pics I want to be smiling more, but im not that wild about my teeth. But I'm also not trying to look serious or brooding either. I have a kind of Mona Lisa thing going on  |

Always smiling pics for me I think they show so much more of someone than any other type of photo. A good smiling photo is more likely to make my knees go weak than anything else |
