I have mine done. Be prepared for it to hurt when they’re done!! Healing so you can swap bars over takes about 6 months and the aftercare is twice a day for 2 months. There is a fairly high risk of rejection but I was lucky mine were ok. Wouldn’t be without them, make me so sensitive - I love them. |

Most painful piercing I have and took an age to heal.
Needs dedication during healing process.
I do like it despite the faff but if I had to get it redone for so reason I wouldn't |

Exactly this. Worst pain of my life. Looked pretty but honestly not worth all the hassle. |

I really want to get mine done. I'm a bit worried that I might have a tough time getting them to heal though. I'm in a job where I'm constantly lifting and carrying and they are going to get constantly knocked |

No issue with pain at the time
It was interesting to watch actually
I had a gold ring at the start but swapped to a plastic bar and balls only for ease when i was having a lot of mri scans
Cant say it really made any difference, but looks nice

I'm seriously considering getting mine done in the next couple of weeks - this might be an odd question but are lacy bras a no go? Don't want to be stuck in t-shirt bras during the healing period. |

I have a bar in my left nipple. I sometimes wear Lacey tops and you do have to be a little careful to avoid getting all caught up. |

Your biggest enemy will be those net shower poofs.

It does hurt initially but obviously that doesn’t last long. The biggest issue for me is healing! It’s a nightmare. I had mine done May last year, and I had to go back to long simple bars last month, because I changed them to a shorter bar and they ended up so sore. they’ve been fine since I’ve done that but it’s a nuisance. Also the time of the month causes them to swell, so again longer bar is necessary. If they ever have to come out for any reason, as good as they look, I would never get them done again haha! |

The actual piercing itself wasn't too bad for me. The second one hurt more. I did put some numbing cream on beforehand.
It then hurt like hell about 2 hours after for 24 hours then fine
In terms of healing, I haven't had the best experience. I'm fairly sensitive to jewellery and do find I have to change my jewellery regularly. I still do have to spray them with salt water from time to time over a year down the line and they're prone to infections.
However, they've made my nipples so much more sensitive and I love the look of them so I'm persevering. |

The secret to healing nipple piercings is every day after piercing use Saline and into it add two drops of oil of oregano. Clean them with that.
After a week they will be significantly more healed than any other method because the oregano has a natural antibiotic property. Beware though, the oil is pungent and will sting.
Once healed, use once every couple weeks to keep them irritation free.
This method works on all piercings and makes a huge difference and slashes healing time down significantly |

Nipped out of a pub at half time many years ago and got one of mine done(M) before returning for the second half….
Continually got it whacked playing physical sports and was always very painful for a couple of days after.
Eventually grew out….I was doing some skipping(no laughing at the back) for fitness, felt a pinch on my nipple and discovered the ring on the floor. Took about 20 years…. Healed up very very quickly… |

I've said to hubby about getting them done and he said if you got your clit pierced then I'm sure you can get them done. Yes they numb it so didn't even feel it so had to read this post to see what others found the nipples getting done. xx badgirl |
