Hi all,
After some advice here.
Looking to travel from Rios in Kentish Town to Aldgate late. Possibly after tubes have closed.
What's the best way of getting around after 12 in London? Uber? Taxi?
Will it be extortionate?
Is there a thread on Fab for lifts or ride shares? Or any drivers available Possibly?
Sorry, don't visit London often. |

"Some tubes operate 24 hours on a Friday and Saturday... May not help, no idea what stations you need"
Google maps is telling me the tubes are closed. There are buses but not very often.
I'm thinking Uber |

Black cab. Uber is ok but too often get someone who doesn’t know the way so you’re racking up charges while they go down dead ends etc and after 12 you’re getting whacked with surge pricing etc. Black cab is gonna be quicker |

"If you use the free app citymapper it will give you all the different ways of getting somewhere, walk, tube, train, bus, cycle, cab, uber and all the prices."
That is a really useful app, we used in Manchester, saved us a lot of worry. |
