Is it just me, you spend quite a bit of time writing a profile about yourselves and what you like/want, not loads of Do's and Dont's. then you get messages and friend invites from people who clearly haven't been bothered to read what you've put, only looked at your pictures!!! Apart from that we're having loads of fun. We do know about message filters and use them already, this is just about lazy people x |

I have had at least 3 messages this morning from guys wanting to spend hours licking me and lots of kissing.
My profile Cleary states I don't want that lol
But I just tell them I only meet at clubs for group play. Although some then try to convince me I don't want that

True - most messagers obviously haven't bothered to read my profile - which I freely admit is maybe over-long.
But that in itself is a good filter system. I don't want to meet everybody, just interesting people where our wants and needs do match.
So if they haven't read my profile, they probably aren't the sort of people who I would enjoy meeting.
But if they have - and they respond positively, then I'm pretty sure that we'll get on and have a good time. And pretty much, that's been the case!!
A big "Thank You" to all the nice people who have laboured through my profile and who have shared their company as a result! xxx

When you think about it, this is a problem with all types of on-line dating/swinging sites, a case of too much information. If you meet someone down the pub or wherever, you and they don't have a list attached to them of likes/dislikes, and other personal info, it's just a case of attraction to start with. The likes/dislikes etc is absorbed at a much slower rate, perhaps making it more palatable.
Don't know what the answer is to getting round this problem. Unfortunately, no profile can be perfect, and what is perfect to one person can be an imperfection to another.
Perhaps a method could be devised where there is very little information initially available, and the information comes to you in a message to you after an initial message between two parties. Just an idea off the top of my head! |

Would never work!
You'd just end up with more messages in your inbox from totally incompatible people trying their luck!
The current system works fine for most - and as has been said - If you get a message from someone who hasn't bothered to read your info - an easy choice as to whether to respond - or as is more likely - not !! |

We don't think that those who clearly haven't read our profile before sending invites etc are lazy, we think they're ignorant and just a bit stupid too! Obviously if they're not what we're looking for we aren't going to accept invites etc - Duuhh!

I always mail back to point out that they have not read our profile and sometimes receive responses like,"Thought I would ask anyway", "Sometimes people change their mind", "Let me know when you change your mind", I know you state in your profile, blah blah blah but would you consider seeing me. Occasionally receive the odd semi-abusive comment because we dont fit in with their requirements but if they had only read or not ignored our profile in the first place, there was no need for them to mail in the first place. (Think its just cock moves to brain mode) |

I totally agree.....
In my profile it clearly states the following.
Looking to meet peolpe for friendship, fun etc.... And also that I would like to meet socially if nothing else ....
I am convinced they can't read, because no bugger gets in touch lol!!!! |

This used to annoy me but life is too short. And like someone said, when you meet someone in person you don't know loads about them, you go on initial attraction. So, if someone reads my profile and thinks they'd like to send a message that's great, but every now and again someone will obviously not have read it but they'll have that certain something and I'll like them anyway. I think of it as being a few helpful hints, really, but if you read it you'll have a much better chance of me being in any way interested in replying. |

A lot of people on here (especially guys) dont read the profile. They take one look at the pics, and then wink/message/add as friend, and then expect YOU to change your preferances for them!!!! Thats life |

Although it's a bit tiresome, the only time it actually proper bothers me is when they start off by saying "Hi, Love your profile" then go on to ask me if I enjoy Domming a guy
I dunno why but that one has me instantly seething |

I don't reply to anyone outwith my criteria, only those that meet what I'm looking for. If I say "thanks but no thanks" it could be for a number of reasons.
I've done this for:
Having "69" in the username.
Having a username that turned my stomach is pussy wrecker.
Having any reference to 50 Shades.
Having photos of bareback sex.
Having straight on profile but have pics of being rogered and sucking cock.
Having face pics of different women giving a blow job but no clear pic of the man.
The "tone" of the profile.
I just don't fancy them.

Agree with you 100% We have lost count of the single guy's we have blocked for sending friends invites or messages!!
The sad thing is some of them ticked all the right boxes and all they had to do was wink us, but they could not even do that, so they get blocked as rules are rules. |

"We really couldn't care less if people read our profile fully or not.
"
It's strange that "you really don't care less if people read your profile fully or not" when your profile is so indepth and includes your rules. |

It's a bloody pet hate of mine!
And I still get all the shite from in hotel just now, fancy a meets, but when I call them on it, they say, actually I did read it, I thought I would just chance my luck, so it seems you can't win either way |

Nothing strange about it, our rules are our rules. Whether or not people read them is entirely their choice in much the same way as it's our choice to ignore their message and move on to the next one that interests us |

We get people asking to meet the wife on her own despite it saying in our profile that we dont play alone. We also get abuse because i (the male) am large build despite again it stating this in our profile.
It saddens us people are so arrogant and disrespectful |

Sometimes I just have a few dots for my profile text and nothing else. Makes me laugh when I get mail saying what a cool profile I have. I always reply and ask which bit they liked best. |

the friend invites thing is a funny one.
i had a couple ask me to accept their friends request even though i had no previous contact with them.
i sent them a polite message saying that i only have people on the friends list i have met.
they sent me back a very abusive message and then blocked me.
just laughed it off.
stick to your guns because then your happy. |
