yes i have used it quite a few times it can be quite arousing for the sub if you make her prepare it herself under your supervision
you can also use a litle sliver bent in a u shape under her clit hood

The general advice is use it fresh.
Use as uniform a piece of ginger as you can: a 'finger'.
Cut a depression and a smooth 'top' so it looks like a butt plug but make sure the depression isn't too deep as ginger is pretty fragile and you don't want to loose it up there.
The effect is subjective and some hardly feel it but some will be crying their eyes out.
Effect lasts ~20mins.
Burning sensation but doesn't cause any damage.
Don't use lube to insert it, it won't work.
Apparently you can puree it and use it as lube, provided they are cleaned out thoroughly after play (but I've only read about this and can't confirm) but wear a condom unless you want to feel it too.
Also works on other sensitive areas like the clit or urethra (take extreme care there).
