Rent a room rather than a hotel

Just wondering if anyone has ever managed to do this please? I meet up with a FWB regularly but often he only has has an hour or two to spare and not always enough time to get to me. Obviously there are hotels but just looking at other options

Do you mean rent a room for a few hours. Not sure if they exist other than Dayuse which we have used a lot
