Hi everybody,
I'm Mike. I've been using the chat rooms and have chatted with some great people and made some friends.
But I was hoping people could give my advice on my profile please.
Had have 2 meets arranged and both have cried off. Dont know why and was wondering if my profile was putting people off?

We can't see anything wrong with your profile. The only suggestion we'd make is get a mate to take a face picture for you.
I think you were probably unlucky with the two meets who let you down.

I have to second the piece of advice regarding the face pic - take it off completely or get one that reflects you in a good light, not one that looks like it has come from Crimewatch UK!

I think most photos are better taken by someone else, preferably when the subject is not in pose mode - they're more natural and relaxed this way, which can make one seem more inviting.
The arranged meets that you had were possibly just bad luck - they'd already seen your profile, so the profile worked enough to get the meet agreed.
Overall the profile's pretty good, there's a selection of pics showing body, face etc, so others get a reasonable feel for you.
There was one minor typo I saw - 'but wil meetl people', but wouldn't put any reasonable person off (though this is Fab )

Being picky a personal dislike is when a preference is expressed (in your case BBW), followed by a get out in case it puts off people that don't meet that preference. Don't be afraid to go after what you want. |

Hi Mike!
Welcome to the site! You profile looks fine to me but I have a small suggestion regarding your photo.
You will get a better image if the person taking the shot isn't angling the camera up at you. ie: sitting while you are standing. It can distort the perspective, making your head look smaller yet your waist bigger!
I shoot professionally so if you needs any tips let me know. Hope that helps |

Only comment we have - apart from the photos one which a number of people have highlighted - is the number of 'interests' you have ticked. To "us", your list comes over as desperate.. it would look MUCH better if you really thought about it and cut it down to enough to fit on one line, two at the most, and they are things your are genuinely interested in AND which you talk about in your profile (so that would need a bit of padding too).
Other than that, if you've got two meets set up, good luck with them  |

I'll take your comments on board.
Had 2 meets set up last week. Had text and spoke on the phone to both for nearly a week.
Then both pulled out. 1 on Friday after we'd agree to book a hotel. Which I did. Told me she wasnt coming after I'd sat there two hours. Then her status the next day says about how good the shag was she had last night lol.
Hey ho. Lesson learned. X |

When I was active as a single guy (on another site) I NEVER paid for a hotel up front on a 'blind meet'. If they won't meet for a drink, maybe (and that is 'maybe'..) something to eat, then anyone trying to get money out of you for a room... well, I'd be very wary....
