I ask as I'm 47 but often wonder Is there any point in messaging ladles in their 20s or 30s. It's rare that I get replies anyway, but never had anyone younger than 40 message me. |

Ive seen profiles of younger ladies looking for men much older. (I'm too young at 49)
They're out there, but a small proportion of the already small (compared to male) number of women on the site.
And maybe in suspicious, but a lot of such profiles seem to be motivated by "$eeking $ugardaddy" etc. |

I met my fb on here and she is in her mid twenties, We exchanged messages for months before we met and now we meet once every 2-3 wks |

I wouldn't call someone in their early 30s a young girl!
Maybe alter your profile age preference as currently you are happy to meet people including those in their 90s.
If you are messaging people in your location in their 20s and 30s, does their profile state that they are looking for people in their 40s ? You need to meet their criteria. But saying you are looking for 'young girls" sounds really creepy to me.

Maybe alter your profile age preference as currently you are happy to meet people including those in their 90s.

And the irony.
The very next thread on this section is by. 27 year old woman refering to herself as a girl.
Personally I think people are took quick to get argumentative and defensive.
Everyone knows what the op means he obviously didn't mean " young girls"
People know that but feel the need to be judgemental.
I understand it's a sensitive subject but as there are no minors on this site I think people should chill a bit.
Obviously if a post is clearly wrong that's something that needs addressing but that's something for the mods and possibly authorities to deal with. |

It was the "young girls" wording that I reacted to. I have no objection to older guys hooking up with people younger than themselves.. but searching for "young girls" sounds predatory to me.
I am chilled and was trying to give the OP some food for thought about the wording and how it might come across.  |
